No wonder you were worn out, I make my poor dh do hoovering at the mo, I say poor dh only because I kicked him out of bed about 3am this morning as I couldn't sleep and he was getting on my nerves, it was typical I couldn't sleep worked out the E numbers in calpol are part of Evie's problem with sleep at night and last night only had to get out twice to her, shame about all the trips to the loo.
How did your scan go??
Randowm question, but how long are you taking folic/vitamin tablets for I'm sure I didn't take them for whole 9 months with Evie but I can't remember??
Hope your having good weekend, got to go my Christmas cake is in oven and I will forget to take it out if i stay online!!!!

HI ya girls,
well so much for my retail therpy, by the time i'd battled my way round town, and done a bit of crimbo shopping for the boys prezzies, i was skint and worn out, lol
i came hope, ran the hoover round , sat down for a cuppa, and by the time i'd gotmy breath back it was time to pick my youngest from school,. luckly my eldest so comes on home on the school bus, he has autism and attends a special school.
we too are sorting out the tin cuboard and looking in the freezer to try to reduce the amount of money we throw away at tesco's every week,
i'm sooooooooooooo excited about my scan tomorrow, lol you'd think i'd never done this before.
anyway i'm about ready for my bed, so take care and i'll let you know how i get on tomorrow,

Hi Beth and welcome Helen
Daytime tv does make brain a bit numb but not as much as children's tv seems to I'm constantly singing the theme tune to tikkabilla and night garden etc.
I was planning on doing a bit of online shopping for Christmas tomorrow but think I will leave it until next week. Going to make my Christmas cake on Saturday that's about as much as I have thought about. Evie has ear infection at the mo, felt really bad yesterday coz I finally took her to the Dr coz of not sleeping and teething pains and when he said both her ears are infected I felt awful I just kept putting it down to teething.......by the way still no teeth......and poor little thing was in fact poorly.
Will go to the main park in town for remembrance service on Sunday so weekend pretty much planned. Oh I have bought Evie Christmas prezzie whilst I had money, its really tough this month and next 2 as I'm on the unpaid bit of my maternity leave been going through cupboards today seeing what tins and jars of food I have to last the month was quite surprised how much I had will be eating pasta until Christmas I reckon!!
Hope your scan goes well Helen let us know, still waiting for mine although Weds not too far away now xxx

Hi there - welcome, congratulations and also comiserations, must be a worry not to be working. Have you got any plans to look for a new job?
I'm Beth, due the 26th hence starting this thread, we did have a load of ladies due around the 26th but they all seem to have dissapeared.
I wonder how much I'll be able to get on Bounty today as Rubbish Roger (my boss) has moved desks to he can look at my screen now, I love looking at the offer/competition threads, I've had loads of deals from there. How's everybody getting on with their Christmas planning?
Good luck for your scan tomorrow by the way.

HIya girls, hope you dont mind me gatecrashing, i'm due on 24th, so only a few days out, lol
got my 20 week scan on Fridau, i'm soooooooooooo excited, feel like a kid waiting for santa,
i was made redundant 3 weeks ago, and i have to tell you, being a housewife isnt all it's cracked up tp be, i've gone from working 45 hours a week to a couch potatoe in nought to three weeks, lol
theres only so much house work a girl can do, and daytime tv is making my brain soft
hence the gatecrashing.

Hi Emma
I thought for a second, I would be posting to myself again so glad to see you got on here!
Sorry to hear you're still feeling rough, only another 20 weeks!!!
Rubbish Roger has been working from hom again this morning and was out all day yesterday so it's been great, he's back in in a minute though so I'm off for some lunch.

Know exactly what you mean about feeling heavy, thought it was just me feeling like a bowling ball is about to drop out of me.
I'm still being sick, boobs really hurt especially as Evie keeps nipping them OUCH!! and I've got the itchiest feet in the world every time they get hot. Feeling bump move loads some are really strong don't think it will be long until dh gets to feel.
Glad your scan went ok, you're so organised for Christmas making stockings I bought a sewing machine earlier in year for such things but its still in the box.......maybe next year. I know its not the same but doing most of my shopping online and then a few shopping trips to soak up festive atmosphere with the odd treat.

Hello ladies, hope everybody is ok. I had my scan today and it's definately a baby! Only joking, didn't find out the sex so have to wait another 20 weeks or so. Got to have another scan on Monday as they couldn't get a picture of the spine so I'm really lucky.

Hiya ladies
Another week started and only 7 weeks left till Christmas. Going to try and do some Christmas shopping next weekend. I got some Christmas fabric on the weekend so need to get some wadding and then have a go at making stocking for the kids!!
Rubbish Roger has been working at home this morning which has been very nice but he's due in anytime so thought would quickly post before he comes in.
Anybody got any pregnancy updates? I've started to feel the baby move with my hand but not very often, my boobs are huge compared to normal, feel really heavy down below (maybe I don't have any muscles left so baby might fall out)!! He He! Think that's it!

Energy what's that lol! I'm in Ipswich no snow, but loads of rain its been really miserable to look outside.
Had a night without Evie last night and couldnt sleep so she may as well have been here keeping me up, missed her loads. I've had fairly boring weekend went out for meal last night couldn't eat half of what I fancied on menu so I had the arse on then we went to see comedian and I had really bad trapped wind and indigestion so felt really uncomfortable, poor dh probably wondered why he bothered taking me out!!
Hi Dragondrop I'm jealous you both have your scans this week, if I don't get on here before you go, hope they all go well

-
2/11/08 10:55
Hi Dragondrop - you're very welcome in here!
No, I'm from Bridgend so will be having my scan in Princess of Wales, not far from Cardiff though. I did spend 21 years living in Rhiwbina. Are you from Cardiff?
Hope everybody is having a good weekend?

Hi Everyone,

I am going for my scan on Wednesday in Cardiff, I was just wondering if that was where you were going Bean?

Hiya matey - does look like we should have names this thread the "evie and bean bump buddy" thread. Maybe all the lovely ladies have got their second trimester energy and doing loads and loads of things to keep them busy, I'd be happy if some of us are feeling well, cause I'm certainly still lacking in energy!
Hope your feeling better, my cold seems to be going although I think I've blown my nose so much, it's made my ear sore.
I'm off to the craft fayre in Cardiff on Saturday so getting quite excited. I'm really sad, I really look forward to it all year.
Are you up to anything good over the weekend? Where about's are you by the way, have you been in one of the areas that got snow this week, we never get any snow.
Speak to you soon xx

Hi Beth - where is everyone else hiding??
Only doing nursery because its the junk room since we moved in in May and its a good excuse to get dh to sort it out!! Didn't get very far but at least we've made a start.
I've had cold for last couple days as well so sympathise, Evie teething - still no teeth tho - and still not sleeping through I'm so exhausted.
Got my scan on 12th Nov so still a while to wait for me it seems to be taking ages to get to the scan date maybe that's just due to lack of sleep and all the days being a bit of a blur.
Speak soon x

Good morning ladies - Rubbish Roger is on leave for 3 days so I'm catching up on all my personal stuff i.e. surveys I haven't completed etc. Unfortunately I now have the cold that Alfie had so feeling really terrible and nobody in work wants to come anywhere near me!!
That's so exciting about decorating the nursery. I'm just leaving ours as Alfie will be sleeping in it for the first 6 months that the baby is here as he/she will sleep in with me. I'm hoping to put Alfie and the baby then in the same room together so will have to have a shift around of rooms so they can have a larger one!
Can't wait for the scan next Tuesday, when is everybody else booked in?
-
27/10/08 09:53
Hi Ladies - Hope everything is ok with everyone we've all been very quiet lately????
Going to make a start decorating nursery for bump today if all goes to plan I've woken up feeling like I need to sort the house out and get tidy which is bound to end in exhaustion by lunchtime!!!
-
22/10/08 21:21
No news I'm afraid, have spent the day trying to clear out my living room as Evie is now fully mobile and pulling up on everything I still haven't managed to sort it all out but at least the mess is all just in one corner now.
Feeling bump move around quite a lot now which is nice and Evie knows where baby is hiding now which is really sweet except she keeps pulling my top up no matter where we are or whose company we are in which has been quite embarrassing lol!
Evie still not settling herself to sleep hope bump is a better sleeper when they arrive!!!!

22/10/08 13:46
Hello ladies - just been out for somebodies leaving lunch and I'm absolutely stuffed! Had a really bad headache all morning so finally taken a paracetamol. Alfie's still not well, he's at home with hubby but he thinks there is a slight improvement.
Any news with anybody else?

Just thought I might start a thread for anybody due on the 26th March.
I'm Beth, I'm 26 and live in South Wales. I have a little boy called Alfie who will be 1 this Friday. He was two weeks overdue and I had a home birth. I've have a lot more sickness this time so can't wait to feel better!
Has everybody had their scans yet?
