Thanks mate - we ended up in the hospital all night with Alf as he now has a chest infection, never rains but it pours!
In a funny way, it gave Paul and I chance to focus on the important thing in life and not worry about the rest.
How's everybody doing today?

Oh Beth, don't worry about having a moan it's better to get it off your chest.
Poor little Alfie you must be exhausted from this alone without all your other troubles. Lets hope your solicitor can sort out the family business problem and help with access arrangements before it goes down same path as before?
As for work, bugger it you are only one woman and can only do so much go see your GP and get some time signed off if it comes to needing a break from it all you, bump and Alfie are much more important than the stress of work.
I hope you see some light at the end of the tunnel soon xxx

Hello ladies - It's moany Beth here!! Keep saying that I don't think life could get any worse but it does. I think I'm going to have a breakdown

So far:-
- Having serious problems with my mother-in-law who has been trying to steel a huge amount of money from my husband. Long story but basically, he has a load of money in her business and now she wants to retire and steel it so has burnt and forged a load of documents so we are paying a solicitor a load of money to try and get it back. She's told loads of lies so that hubbys grandparents have disowned him and now spreading lies with hubby's ex and last time she did that, we had our access to his daughter stopped.
- Rubbish Roger has gone from bad to worse. He pulled me in a meeting last week to say that they don't have any funding so getting rid of the temp who works with me so I will bo doing two full time jobs on a permanent basis. The PA in my department is also leaving on Wednesday and they are not replacing her so will be doing some of her job too. He sent round a document saying what my job would be from now on which is basically arranging and minuting meetings which is rubbish. I've had to join a union to get them done for "constructive dismissal".
- Alfie's been really poorly with V&D which I caught on the weekend so feeling really ill on top of having a rough time with this pregnancy. He's not sleeping and I'm still having to work full time. He was sick all over my bed at 11pm last night.
- Lastly, had a letter through the post from a finance company asking me the circumstances surrounding me purchasing my car over two years ago. Turns out the garage I bought it from hadn't paid off the hired purchase on it so I might lose £6k worth car.
I know this is really long and you don't have to read it, I just had to get it off my chest. Hubby and I are like two strangers the last couple of months and I'm so worried that this constant stress is going to harm the baby. Really don't know how to carry on going at the moment.
Really sorry for the moan!

Hi Claire - I haven't been on for ages, trying new sleeping technique with my lo and its been a nightmare, especially last night I feel like a zombie. I've got the same pram for my lo and I've loved it going to use it for bump for first few months. Not sure if yours has arrived yet but as soon as it does check the car seat fits your car safely and correctly we a huge complaint with M&Ps about it and it turned out we weren't the only ones as it doesn't fit most family cars correctly if you're unsure pop to mothercare for some advice on how it should be fitted.
I've forgotten who asked the question about red pram already I'm sooooooooooooo tired, anyway I think red is fine for boy or girl I had a red one picked out originally but ended up with grey one as mil paid for it.
Now going to crash out for the night, I'm still suffering with sickness and loss of appetite mw says not to worry just keep up with vitamins etc. I only feel bump moving in small hours of the morning which was same with my lo so guess I'm having another baby who comes alive at sleeptime!!!
Where have all the other ladies gone - hope everyone is ok

Hello ladies!
Just a quick question... I have found the most fantastic pram, it is a red and white polka dot one, I love it! It's on Mothercare.com. We aren't going to find out whether it is a pink or a blue bump, so do you think that red polka dots are ok for girls and boys? I would love to have a snazzy pram like that, but if I have a little boy then I don't want him to feel silly! Please let me know what you think.

Well, a very Good Afternoon girlies, How is everyone today??? The weather is Poo here today, so I've still got my Pj's on hehehe!! What is everyone up to today? There are a few girlies who I haven't seen on here for a few weeks?? Where has everyone gone??

Well, I have my 16wk mw appointment on Thursday(I'll be 17wks) Will she listen to bubs heartbeat this wk?? I have bought a doppler so have been listening every other day, I seem to be finding it really low down, Is that normal?? How is everyones pg going so far?? I have been getting headaches still which is doing my head in, literally!!!! Some days I feel like I am about to pop, & some days I don't feel like I am getting any bigger then it just makes me panick. Well my scan is still another 4 wks away Boooooo, but I'm sure it will come round in no time, I hope it does as I'm now not so concerned with the sex, although I can't wait to know what were having, but am now worrying that somethings wrong as I still havent felt bubs move, so am a bit stressed really!!! OOhh just quickly as I know I'm ranting now hehehe, I bought my Pram last week, I know its still early but I couldn't resist as it was in the sale, I saw it in the Mamma's & Pappa's shop & it was being sold as a set with car seat etc, and it was about £500 so didn't think that I could justify that, but then saw it on Boots.com just for the pram & it was £325 which was more affordable, and THEN I saw it back on the Mammma's & Pappa's site for, £249 so I couldn't really let that pass, It's the Pliko Prammette in Polka dot, I love it, It's gorgeous!!!! So, sorry for ranting girls, Hope everyone is OK, including the girls we haven't heard from in ages((((((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))))))) for those girls and anyone else who needs one, Have a good day, Lotsa Love Claire x x x x x x x x x x x x x

Evening all
Beth - Its been really had work with Evie don't seem to making any headway but doing best to stick with it, weird thing is tho during the day she now stops what she is doing lays on her tummy and goes to sleep when tired so i guess its working just not at the right time of day! She's asleep face down doing a Saturday Night pose arm stretched in the air and legs out either side of cot bars at the mo - doesn't look comfy but hey she's asleep.
Mel - don't worry about not showing like Beth said maybe you are really well toned - lucky thing! Plenty of time for your bump to grow x
Welcome HannahLou think we've decided not to find out bumps colour at scan I'm going with gut instinct at the mo anyway that is a pink bump and dh wants it to be a surprise. Your scan date wil be here before you know it.
Now going to bed while Evie asleep speak soon x

Hi Mel - I think alot to do with it is whether you have good tummy muscles, mine are pants hence the large bump. Also I get a lot of water retention in pregnancy which makes everything look bigger as the day goes on.
Emma - Have you tried swaddling Evie and putting her down but patting her like a heartbeat. Alfie sleeps on his front with his bum in the air so my husband pats his bum when he's not feeling well and seems to work wonders??
Hope everybody is ok?
Just had my bloods taken but no chance of hearing heartbeat until 7 weeks time

***>good afternoon ladies. hope everyone is well today?***> ***> ***> ***>oh no, i must be the only bumpless 4 mounths pregnant person ever! i wore a tight dress to work yesterday just to show off the little tiny bump that i did have (if you could really call it that!) and my colleagues said that it just looked liked i'd had a bit of big lunch! but i guess that's reassuring as at least that means i've got something there and i have checked on the scales and i am now gradually starting to put on some weight. oh well, i'm sure it will pop out in its own good time - i thought it would have been before now, as i'm normally a size 8 and a bit of a shorty and so i thought that i would probebly show quite early, but that wasn't to be! when i had my 12 weeks scan though, bambino was the right size with a strong heartbeat and so there is no reason to suspect that anything is wrong, i'm just a bit jealous of all your lovely bumps!***> ***> ***> ***>how's everyone feeling with sickness, etc...? i've not been feeling sick since about 11 weeks and am pretty much eating normally again, but it's the headaches that are really getting me! and the tiredness is so bad - i was looking forward to the 2nd trimester 'energy burst' that i'd heard about, but so far, no sign of that!***> ***> ***> ***>just realised that when i first joined this group, i never really introduced myself, so here you go... i'm 26, married to adam, i live in huddersfield (west yorkshire), i work at a charity as an events fundraiser, this is my first baby (16+3), although i do have a house rabbit called barney!***> ***> ***> ***>have a nice day everyone!***> ***> ***> ***>mel xx***> -

Hi ladies
I've got a whole drawer in freezer full of ice pops and I haven't fancied since I put them in there, need to eat them soon tho as I need the space. I didn't Evie move until quite late in my second trimester last time probably because I didn't really know what the first movements felt like and this time a couple of times I've thought bump is moving and its wind.
Trying new sleep technique with Evie tonight as she will only go to sleep night or day if she is cuddling someone and its getting hard with my bump to let her keep doing it, think I'im in for a long night.
My bump is quite big, but I had a massive bump with Evie really early so expected it this time was a size 10 before Evie those days are long gone going to put my last remaining old clothes that I haven't charity bagged yet on ebay as they are never going to fit me again. I only have a couple of bits that I kept but still they are depressing me hanging in wardrobe going to buy myself something nice that fits me and bump with the cash I get.
Glad you got your doppler working Claire, I would be useless if I got one I would be using it all the time!!
It took work 3 days to contact me but finally had a congratulations from them accompanied by the question so let me get this straight you are coming back for 4 weeks then going on leave for a year? Not quite worded that bluntly but may as well have been to which my answer was a very straightforward yes that's correct!!

Evening ladies - I just eaten my third ice pop so got a very cold mouth!! Still might eat another, since they are only water and a bit of coloring!
This is my second so got quite a bump, I'm normally a size 10 so shows quite a bit. I've been feeling movement for the last few weeks but only I think because it is my second.
I think I was 20 weeks before I felt anything with Alfie. The way I worked it out was when I feel a little pop which I think might be wind, but because I don't need to actually pass any wind or have and noises going on, turned out to be bubs!

Hey Mel, I'm 16 + 0 also with my 1st and I've had a bump for about 4wks now, I was a size 12 before I got preggers but don't fit into any of my old clothes I am in maternity clothes now & loving every minute of it. I still haven't felt bubs move yet
I keep on thinking that there is some movement but I think it's just wind hahaha!! We have just bought a doppler from Ebay but I am soooooooo annoyed as they havent sent any gel so its not working GGrrrrrrrr!!!!We have our 20wk scan on 12th November(I'll be 21wks then) and we are going to find out if it's a blue/pink bump and we cant wait!!!
I am going to try & breastfeed and hope that it goes to plan, Where are you from??

Hello ladies, hope everyone is ok? I've not been able to get on for a week and there is such a lot to catch up on!
I've now got the tiniest bump ever - you can only really see when I pull my clothes tight to my body, but at least I now have something! A bit strange though, as my stomach was completely flat when I sat down to watch 'Meet Joe Black' at the weekend and when it had finished 3 hours later, there was definite signs of an emerging bump - this makes me wonder whether i have a little lady in side me who likes the sound of Brad Pitt??!
I've not felt any movement yet, what about anybody else?
In answer to the earlier forum posting, I'm planning to breastfeed, although this is my first bambino and so I have never done it before. I was bottlefed as my mum had problems breastfeeding me, so I hope this wont mean that I'm not able to.
Take care
Mel xxx

Just thought I might start a thread for anybody due on the 26th March.
I'm Beth, I'm 26 and live in South Wales. I have a little boy called Alfie who will be 1 this Friday. He was two weeks overdue and I had a home birth. I've have a lot more sickness this time so can't wait to feel better!
Has everybody had their scans yet?
