Just thought I might start a thread for anybody due on the 26th March.

I'm Beth, I'm 26 and live in South Wales. I have a little boy called Alfie who will be 1 this Friday. He was two weeks overdue and I had a home birth. I've have a lot more sickness this time so can't wait to feel better!

Has everybody had their scans yet?

    Hi Claire

I thought since Rubbish Roger wasn't in today I'd spend all day on Bounty and I've only just managed to get on here, I'm going home in 10 minutes!

Been a really good day though without him, and my mum will be dripping Alfie off at my work today so it's going to be lush seeing him as soon as I leave. Although he managed to vomit 8oz of milk all over me this morning, just as we were leaving the house. I ended up trying to strip him off and clean the living room in my underwear and a very attractive pair of thick black tights!!!!

Hope everybody has a good weekend xxx

Hi ladies - well you guys have cheered me up, nice to know that the worlds not all that bad.

Mel, thanks, you really did make me chuckle about the laminatated list, I thought I was organised by having an Excel spreadsheet on my Christmas To Do List!!! Good on you girl, where are you going to keep your list now?

Claire congratuations on the extention of you family, new babies are always good to cheer people up, even if it's to think that it wasn't us this time giving birth!!

Welcome Nat - of course your welcome, nice to have a group of people all going through the same thing. When I had a baby last year, I was due on the 30th and everybody seemed to be having their scans, first movements, giving birth ages before me, then I went 14 days over and so I waited for ages and ages, reading all the lovely stories.

Have a good evening, I'm chilling now as I know that Rubbish Roger is out of the office all day tomorrow so my weekend will be starting on a nice note.

    Speak to you tomorrow xxx

Hi. Thanks for your welcoming message! I'm sorry to hear that you are a bit down at the moment.. I'm off work sick at the minute, just with a cold, but when you add all the pregnanacy stuff to that - tiredness and headaches for me - then it makes having a cold seem pretty bad! What's more, my boiler has broken and so the house is freezing and there is no hot water!

I cheered myself up by starting my baby names list. I sifted through several names books and jotted down the ones that I liked and what the meanings of the names were. Then I looked at different combinations and the initials to make sure they didn't spell anything rude! I then went a bit far and typed up my list on my computer! And I'm now (very) embarressed to admit it, but I went a step further and laminated the list.... Oh well, I enjoyed it at the time!

    Take care. Mel xx

Hi there and welcome, glad to hear things with your pregnancy are going ok. I'm on my second and my bump is huge, everybody is commenting on it and what's worse there is a lady in my work who is 10 days infront of me and she doesn't have very much of a bump at all. Everybody wants what they haven't got I guess.

Well Rubbish Roger has struck again, really feel so stressed that I'm going to end up off work for a while. I don't think I would be able to cope if I make my feelings known to HR so not sure what to do for the best. I'm so stressed by the time I get home, hubby has a little moan about the house being in a state and I'm not talking to him for days. Bloody hormones!

How is everybody today? Please tell me some good news stories...

I've just joined the Bounty Club, so hello everyone! My bambino is due 25 March (my 1st), so please can I join your group, as I'm near enough?!!

I too have lost half a stone too and I'm not showing at all. It is comforting to hear that other people are the same, as I was getting a bit worried, although the midwife said that it wasn't unusual. I went to prgnancy pilates on Monday night and I was partners with a lady who was only 5 weeks more progressed than me and she was huge. I want a bump! I've felt so tired and sick and I just want a bump to show everyone that I am really pregnant - I'm sure it would make me feel much better!

    Hi all how's everyone doing??

Hope you're starting to feel better Jo and that tomorrow goes ok x

Claire you have your next scan the same day as mine - I can't wait - it seems ages since my last scan and mw appoint got bloods booked for next Weds so will be exciting to see if mw can hear bumps heartbeat, still changing my mind daily about whether to find out the colour of bump.

Can't believe you are all checking the scales, I don't have any at home but I'm at my mum's today so might nip up there in a minute and check - will probably regret it

My bump is getting big but people keep saying I look like I've lost weight think its just because I'm so gaunt looking this sickness is really getting to me.  I'm useless at diets and eating healthy at the best of times anyway.  It took me an hour to walk to my mum's today usually only takes me 30 mins feel ever so unfit.

Has anyone bought their prams yet/got to by a new/double one.  I had a Mamas & Papas Pilko pramette for Evie (now 9 months almost) which was lovely as a pram but really not practical for folding down on public transport and car seat didn't fit in any of our cars but I was hoping to use it for bump but now everyone has gone on at me so much that I need a double pram I'm having second thoughts.  Haven't bought anything for bump yet but going to paint the spare bedroom over next few weeks so I can start looking for nursery bits or new bits for Evie and use her nursery bits can't decide!!

Hey Jo, Lovely to have you back, Sorry to hear that you are pooly My scan is on the 12th November I'm sooooooo excited I can't contain it lol, we have even enquired about a private gender scan because I don't know if I can wait that long hehe!! I've actually lost wait too, when I went for my scan last week and the mw did my height & weight it appeared that I had lost over half a stone!! but like you I just can't face big portions, and was struggling to eat anything up to a couple of weeks ago, but am slowly but surely getting back to normal. I just can't wait to find out if it's a blue or pink bump so I can start bying some stuff other than white lol. Anyway, hope ylou start to feel better soon, Hope the funeral goes well, will be thinking of you take care hun, lotsa Claire x x x x x x x x x x x

    Hi everybody!!!

Did not get a chance to get on here yesterday - was snuggled under the duvet all day with my hot water bottle!  I was soooo ill.    Am still not 100% but have had to come to work, got tomorrow off for that funeral and too much work to do to be having three days off.  Plus I had Friday off as well so would have been manic if i'd have only come back on Thurs!

How is everyone?  They did give me my 20wk scan date - it's 14 Nov, it can't come quick enough, we can't wait!

I think leaving this thread titled as it is is just fine.  We all know where it is and what it's called and we've got a good little group going on.  If it goes open to end of March, we might get overloaded and lose each other!  After all, you know what they say : "Too many cooks spoil the broth!".

What is everybody upto today?  The weather up here in Lancashire is horrible.  It's depressing to even look out the window!  And on the weight question - I weighed myself at weekend and was shocked to find I've actually lost weight! ???  I've lost nearly half a stone and am now under 8st for the first time in years!  Strange how the body works eh?  DP is going mad at me saying I'm not eating enough but I am eating all I can.  I just can't handle that big portions at the mo.  Is anybody else the same at all?

    xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.

Hi!  Dont think it really matters that it is called due 26th how many of us will actually have our babies on that dat date!!!  Also like someone else said it can be tricky to keep tabs on us all if more people joined it would be harder.  We have created a little family!!

Im trying to chase up my 20wk scan as they forgot to take my paperwork to book me in for it!  Once i finnally got the right telephone no they have gone home for the day so better luck 2moro!

How are we all getting on bump wise?  Im weighing myself everyday virtually as im really paranoid that im gonna end up like a whale!  This is my 3rd and i still havent lost the weight from then!  I dont want to get bigger and bigger.  Im not really dieting as im still eating what i want but i seem to have an afixtion (excuse the spelling!) with the scales.  Some days are better than others but my trousers are getting tighter especially by the end of the day.  Help anyone else paranoid??

    xxxxx

AAAwwww Beth we are a lovely bunch of girls arent we lol? I must say I do have trouble keeping up with the replies on here as there are so many, so I don't know if that will be made worse if we have another thread for "End of March"???? But I have to say that I do love coming on here & catching up, it has helped with a lot of my little niggles & worries, as alot of girls have been through the same as me. But as long as we have people like you keeping on top of the thread we'll be fine lotsa Claire x x x x x x x x x x x x x

Hi ladies - just been looking through our thread and we have a lovely group of 8 ladies now:-

    • koorb Sarah 24th March
    • Beankeeper Beth 26th March
    • bubs85 ??? 26th March
    • newmummy09 ??? 26th March
    • AishaHuss Aisha 26th March
    • Evie08 Emma 27th March
    • Jodiemummyof2 Jodie 28th March
    • JoJoRose Johanna 31st March

Just wondering about opinions, shall I start a new thread called "Due last week of March" or shall we keep this one? Just thinking if we end up using this thread for our entire pregnancies, might be nicer to have a more accurate name and more Mum2B might look at it if they are due in the last week?

I'm probably being really fussy, I just like everything to be accurate!! Feel free at this point to laugh and say "this girls a freak" out loud!! He He!

evening ladies - managed to prize the laptop away from hubby for a couple of minutes to check news - glad your scan went well johanna, you part of the group now so you couldn't possibly think about moving!!

primark was rubbish for tops although i did see about 10 jumpers that i fancied. ended up with a pair of mulberry knee high boots (have to wear a lot of black now!) and two pairs of flat shoes so that's my feet sorted.

went and got two tops in tesco, haven't tried them on yet and a little cardigan from peac***s. thankfully i still have all the maternity clothese that i had from last time so only need to worry about this bit in the middle although my tummy is huhe already. should have workrd on my muscles after having alfie, it's all fallen out! he he!

hope you've all had a good weekend, all my pregnancy problems seems to be ok at the moment but woke up this morning and i have neuralgia on my face so can't win!!

speak to you guys tomorrow hopefully. wait and see what rubbish roger has got in store for me. xxx
