Last time we used the matress from the moses basket that ds2 had used. It was like new still so I just made sure I gave it a clean and it was fine. I will however, once ds3 is out of his cot buy a new matress for it just to be on the safe side (if something ever happened Id probably blame myself for not using a new one- but thats just me!)

I guess really its down to you how you feel about it

This is my first but i am borrowing a moses basket from my friend. Iv had a look at it and it looks brand new, so im not goin to bother.  Think its up to you really, you can get new ones from most baby shops though. But if u think its ok i wouldnt bother xxx

should i be getting a new matress for the crib and moses basket?

dd is 2 and we used them for her? are they expensive does anyone know and where could i get them if i do need new ones? dd was not a sicky baby and hardly used the moses basket so the matresses are in god condition.

what does everone think? will other people be getting new for thier second child?

    thanks x x
