the rhythmic swooshing sound is the placenta

are you looking for it low down? baby is still pretty low at the moment so make sure you're trying low down, just above your (ahem) lady garden!
sometimes mine is hard to find - this one seems to be very good at hiding compared to my ds!

ive just received a doppler (one like MW uses) froma mate who is lending em it for remainder of pregnancy.
I have a few questions......
I have trouble finding heartbeat, i am a bit chunky but mw got it no prob lastw eek, are there any tips?
Also do you think a giant ex tv transmitter would interfere? we kinda live right next door to one?
I did hear heartbeat for a brief time and what i think were hiccups, i also her swishes and sploshes? Was this placenta or baby moving?
Thnaks in advance x x x

Dont know if this helps but i find the HB sounds like a galloping horse or train.
When i do it i usually get 2 main noises one is the plusating swooshing noise and the other is the HB. Now though i am getting kicks and punches by the sound of it. I find my bubs also tends to like the same side, although they do move about they just prefer my left side at the mo. I always do it laying down as i find it aint as clear sitting and its alot harder to find. Dont know what else to say really just be patient the more you do it the easier it will get for you.
