I quit just before i fell pregnant with dd in Oct 06 and i craved all the way thro that pregnancy and thought as soon as i have her i'll be back on them but suprisingly enough i've not had a single one!! Since i had dd i didn't see the point as i was too busy int he day looking after her and then at home or even if out i would have to go outside plus the cravings had stopped by this time and they smelled disgusting to me however now i'm pregnant again they smell appealing again....funny hey!! but it's 2yrs since i had a smoke and i don't think i'll ever go back now as i feel sooo healthy and don't suffer with catarrh anymore (sorry tmi)

Congrats hun and to you all that have managed it - it was one of the hardest things i have ever done but can honestly say the best thing i will probably ever do Xxxx

i quit as soon as I found out but recently baby's father has been an arse (to put it bluntly) so he's gone  and I've had like 3 a week since i feel sooo bad but i'm so upset at the same time it wouldn't have happend if I hadn't found my old pouch and rizzlas

You will be surprised - i dont some personally and never have but both my parents did.  My mum one january a couple of years was ill in bed for a month or so, so didnt have a cigarette and then when she was feeling better couldnt face them and hasnt smoked since - and she had smoked for as long as i can remember and im 32!!  My dad not to be outdone just stopped as well, he does though keep a packet in the house because then he knows if he ever does fell like one they are there, but tbh cos they are there he dont want one!!

I quit as soon as I found out. The other night I had a few drags on a friends cig as I'd had an argument with my brother and was really stressed. I regreted it and my throat was sore in the morning. I'm not beating myself up though. I know I won't do it again.

I gave up the fags a few days after i found out i was preggers.

Just out of curiosity was just wondering who quit , who still smokes etc etc . Dont want to make people feel bad just wondering.

I still crave them now occasionally and think i am gonna find it hard to stay quit after bubs is born.

I just miss them so much !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
