My daughter is 7 weeks this saturday and I have just got my period which started very light but has got quite heavy this is my second day and the pains are quite like contractions.  I have alson got a really bad cold and chest infection so feeling really crappy.!!!!.(poor me)..

I had my period when my ds was 8wks. It was strange as it was incredibly light and practically non-existant. Strange cause when i had my dd i had a really heavy one. I am not worried  though as it will most likely settle down.

Are you bf? That makes a difference. My LO is nearly 9 weeks and no period yet. Have also had nookie with no protection twice (very spontaneous) and am a little concerned. I want 3 anyway, but this is a bit close!

Hey i bled for 5 weeks stopped for 2 days then had a period.  Not sure what is normal think everyone is different.
