I am seeing my mw on wed and I will be 7+4wks. However, I have an appointment with epau on Tues as I had some blood stained mucas earlier in the week, which scared me as I have recently suffered a mc. They did a test and it was still positive and they said that they thought I was ok as I have had no pain, but to reassure me they will check me over on tues and hopefully I may even get to see my little bean.

Hi, it does feel official once you have seen the midwife, mine rang out of the blue on Wednesday 13th to go & see her, had a good chat and went through details for an hour, I have got to go for my bloods next Thursday and my scan date was the 12/09 but due to previous mc's they have got me in on the 29/08..., but yesterday I bled
and got very upset & concerned, I rang my Dr & he doesn't think that I have lost the baby so I have now got a scan on Tues 19th
now I am feeling very apprehensive......fingers crossed!!Yas x

I had my midwife last Weds - nice chat, took my bloods, urine etc, gave me my bounty pack - rang the hospital to book another scan for me which is a week Tuesday, filled out lots of paperwork, more chatting, then booked herself to see me at home (which is tomorrow - don't know why I a seeing her again already) and that was that.
She lives in my little village - few doors away and was very sweet and said if things got too much she would do as many home visits as she could - bless her.
Don't know why I have been seen so quickly by the midwife but can't complain with any of the services I have received from hopsital, docs and midwifes - I love this area as it is so small seems really personal.

I booked mine for 9 1/2 weeks so another couple of weeks to go. I have booked a private scan for the day before too so i'll know if its worth booking

I'm 7+3 i think, this pregnancy is flying by so far !

You saw your midwife quite early then, i'm not booked in to see mine until 10th sep. i'll be about 10 1/2 weeks by then. Then i've got my dating scan 5 days later, that'll be an exciting week!

Just had to nip on for a quick post

After humming and haying about whether to go to booking in appointment without dp (hes working away
) I decided to just go and its just as well, my hospital is taking about 3-4 weeks to get dating scans out! Anyway, Met midwife (who I kind of know already) went over paperwork, discussed my previous pregnancies and deliveries (was strange seeing paperwork from los! Discussed a few things, very informal and relaxed, was there about an hour chatting
Just wante dto post to say i'm on a high and can't believe its official now

oh and she changed my edd to 3rd April, but I'm sure that will change at dating scan. Ooh I'm all excited
Vic (7wks) xxx

I went to EPAU On Mon 11th! Saw the little bean (actually looked like a lot of cells) had a good blood flow and said I was 6 weeks, not seeing midwife until Sept 10th! Unless something occurs in meantime! Can't wait for appointment though it makes it all real!
