The waiting to get past the 12 week marks is driving me crazy, every day seems to be an eternity. Haven't had my midwife app yet either, it on 8th Sept. Lucy 5+5

i'll say it too! i'm 6+4 with my first and v excited. i only found out 2 weeks ago, and have spent a week and a half paraniod that i am making it up!! (4 tests can't be wrong!!) i want to get my appt with my midwife, and get a scan date, but don't want to wish away something so special. every new day without any incidents is great, and yes, i am so nervous when i go to the loo, and come out so pleased when all is fine! which is frequently just now!!(tmi?)

hopefully i'll get to share the next 8months+ with you guys, and i bet it passes too quickly!!

I've only known I'm pg for 2 weeks and WOW HAS TIMED STOOD STILL !!  This is my first pg but my mum suffered many mc's, 1 still birth and 1 baby died after a few days at 9months so I've been worried I will follow in her footsteps. Every time I go to the loo, I'm really happy to see no blood but because I'm so anxious to reach 12/13 weeks I have felt that time has stopped.  Normally life flashes by for me so quickly but this past two weeks has been slow.  I did however have my booking in appointment on Thursday and I've been told I'll receive my scan date in the next 2 to 3 weeks so I'm hoping time will start to speed up a little now it feels a bit more official.

    Good luck to you..  6+2

Hiya, girls, yeah you're not the only ones.......to be honest every time i go to the loo & dont find any blood i feel as though ive passed a major milestone... Ive had 4 previous mc's, so very paranoid. Last 3 were v early too, all before 6 week. Im only 5 weeks tomorrow....so a v crucial time !!

yeah god its bloody scarey, time really does seem to drag; other peoples pregnancies seem to fly by, but not when they're your own.

Thanks, I am trying to stay positive but it is so blinkin hard. This is my 3rd pregnancy now and I am still childless. Its heartbreaking really and very worrying.

On a positive note, I got my dating scan letter this morning for 11th september, and am also seeing GP again on tuesday to try and get an early scan to check bubs is ok so far. They have said they don't want me to have one, but I am trying to push for one as feel it would really help to know it is ok for now.  But they don't get what I mean when I say that.

I am still taking the whole thing a day at a time and me and hubby have a thing going now where each friday we get to is a landmark, it is really helping to have one day a week as a goal to reach. That way we are trying not to think too far ahead.

Ladies, I think initially it does seem to drag, until you get your appointment for your 1st scan then you have something to look forward to.

Bee I am so sorry to hear of your losses and so you have some very special angels watching over you this time, I pray your pregnancy goes smoothly and that you go on to have a screaming yelling baby in your arms in 7 -8 mths time. a close friend of mine also gave birth to a sleeping angel and she has gone on to have two more children, she said until she held and heard her daughter, it was one constant worry and fear, but they got through it and Lauren is still letting us all know she is here at 4 yrs old with her lovely girly squeels (screaming to get her own way more like!!!)

Good luck and masses of babyglue and least you now have this forum to come share all the time waiting and worries, concerns and also joys (((HUGS)))

yep time is going nowhere for me too, its going so slowly. I am now 6 and a half weeks so only 2.5 weeks since found out, but feels like forever, and still not anywhere near the safe zone yet. I have had a previous miscarriage in may and a previous stillbirth 6 years ago, so I worry a lot, and the time dragging just makes it so much worse!
