im going for my booking in appointment later today, im nervous because i really dont like blood tests (this is my 4th baby so you would think i would be used to all that by now lol).

i really hope that i get a nice mw, i had the same one for all my other 3 but ive moved out of the area now so i know i wont have the same one again.

Sorry you had such a rubbish time at your mw's x. When I was pg last yr (sadly lost the twins), the mw was horrible to me. As I'd previously lost 3 other babies I asked her for an early scan and her exact words were 'well if this baby is going to die, a scan won;t save it, be like other mums-to-be and wait til 12wks'. I left in tears. Needless to say I got my early scan 2 days later when I started bleeding . Anyway, sorry I've gone off track

I'm always nervous about the first appointment mines not until wednesday because my midwife presumes because I already have children that I don't need the detailed advice and info, and I do, I still worry, in fact I think I worry more and I'm so forgetful I can't remember what you can/can't eat and everything else, I should be excited about going but I'm actaully dreading it!

had my booking in appt today, all she said was dont put on too much weight and my bmi is too high i told her that ive just given up smoking and if i wanna snack i will coz its better than smoking, then she told me raisins was very high in calories i said its better than a bar of chocolate she said to try have carrot sticks! god they are such a nightmare!  my 12wk scan appt is gonna come in the post.

also got my bounty pack and it had no free stuff in it only £1 off some juice stuff - rubbish!
