Hi, We went for the more expensive mattress when we got our cotbed and I have to say Im pleased I did. Its really good quality and I wish we had such a good mattress on our bed lol. DS is 3 in December and tall for his age and he will be in his cotbed for a long while yet - obviously we changed it into the bed style many months ago. hth xxx

well my ds now 8 would never go in his cot so if this lo is going to be the same i dont think im going to bother getting one. he loved my bed too much i guess. anyway i got the matress with the cot as it wasnt a cot bed. it may be worth splashing out on a more comfortable mattress but its obviously totally up to you

    I have a questionlprangle21

hi, i know its really early, but been looking at cots and seen the one i want, just a bit confused with different mattresses. is it worth getting a really expensive ones so you have springs and 'airflow' etc, or is a basic foam one fine? its a cot bed, so will hopefully use it till 3 years ish. any views on matress choice? anyone used any bad ones or had better sleeping baby if matress has been changed?
