Im planning on leaving at 39 weeks...Im kind of hoping Ill go into labour at work...dd will be at the work nursery and I can just pop up to the labour ward...its nicer than the hospital Im booked in to! haha.

I may have to rethink though, I left at 29 weeks with dd due to severe spd and sickness.

I'm finishing work at 36 wks but thats annual leave for 3 wks so will start mat leave when i'm 39 wks, want as long off as poss lol

Well when I had DS - I took 3 weeks holiday from 37 weeks, and DS was 10 days late by the amended date, but once he was born adn I was told he was at least a month late taking him to the original due date I was given, I was actually a week overdue when I left work!! this time depending on whether I am having a c-section I will work to roughly 38 weeks

With my first I stopped working at 37 weeks..... and she came at 37+5... so I did not have much of a rest.

This time I would like to work up to end of Feb (due 31.03.2009).. but we see how it goes. I have got an office job, mostly sitting, but with DD at home and working compressed hours I imagine I will be quite knackered by then (already now )

I have been thinking that I'll work right up to about easter, I'm not due til 27april (may cahnge after my scan), but I'm a painter and this is my first so I maybe being a bit naive with my leaving date. Ooops lol.

Ideally, I'd like to finish at 36 weeks.  With both dd and ds I booked Mat Leave for 36 weeks but dd was born at 35 weeks and ds was born at 33 weeks so started Mat Leave as soon as they were born!!!

With my first i left work at 38 weeks and i was knackered!! With my ds i had to finish at 31 weeks because i was so huge and i had spd so it was impossiable to walk around on a busy ward all day (im a nurse). This time im finishing at 30 weeks because i know spd will be bad then my baby will be born by c section at 36/37 weeks x x x x
