Still getting pains
think they are getting slightly worse but no closer together, just tidied up the flat and checked hospital bag. Hope I have jinxed myself now by being ready. Ben is here aswell - wont go! Ive never wanted to feel pain so much 
She didnt say whether his head was engaged or not, forgot to ask aswell, was just pleased I got my sweep. Midwife was really nice, quite young but Id be happy if I got one like her when Im in labour.
Cant believe your babies are all over a week old - where has that time gone?!

Can't believe Eloise is a week old today - it's madness!! She's changing so much each day it's unreal. Had a couple of sleepless night with her and knackered today as she's been non-stop feeding (I think my mil has cursed me!!) Going to give her a bath a bit later and see if that settles her more. Annoying really as she sleeps peacefully all day!

i know what you mean about sweeps not being nice. still if it does the job then it's worth it. my waters broke naturally 2 days after my sweep so i'll keep my fingers crossed for you. plenty of people actually go into labour within 24hrs of having a sweep too!!!!
did the mw say where little mans head was now? i presume he is behaving a bit better for you?
awww can't wait for youi to have your baby now, kaitlyn is losing her newborn look now (quite sad really). but on the plus side she is much more alert and fun. luckily i know all the best stuff is yet to come. she's still really small looking tho'. newborn clothes still don't fit her properly. i had a pair of tights on her earlier (good old british weather) and she could give nora b*** a run for her money!!!!!
anyway will be checking on you again soon - hopefully without being too annoying!!!

Right, just got back. Got to see baby on scan, his balls looked massive - bigger than his fists!! Anyway, all is 'perfect' with baby, got myself a sweep, not very nice but hopefully will move things along. Mw said I am 1cm, and the moniter showed up tightenings every 10mins, she doesnt think Ill make it to Sat when my induction is booked for (7:30am
). So hopefully a baby for me before the week is out!!x x

Thanks Di, will definatlely let you know what happens. Im in a good mood today, been having pains all night (ones that I can actually say hurt a bit this time!) and had a show at 4 this morning. Hopefully he's changed his mind and wants out!! Had some distured sleep so feel ready and raring to go!!

Cant believe your babies are all passing tests and mine still isnt even here!! lol. Glad they are all behaving and being good for you.
Broke my laptop again before and had to pay my brother to fix it - charming! Couldnt do without Bounty again though!
Anyway, Im at day unit tomorrow, if this naughty baby is where he should be I'll get a sweep, if not it'll be me getting induced before Sat. Been on my ball loads and done loads of walking (got the fat ankles to prove it!) so hopefully he's co-operating now. My appointment isnt until 3, will let you know how it goes.

That's great about her weight and her hearing. Eloise passed her hearing screening on the day we left hospital. Went to MW yesterday and she's only lost 200g since birth, so they're really pleased with her!!

love the idea of false dates - i was beginning to get fed up with the daily calls, but i went into labour a day before she was actually due, so god knows what it would have been like if we'd been overdue!!!
get lots of rest now though - i crave sleep soooooooo much already!!
went to see mw today for guthrie tests - bless, she was soooo good, didn't cry at all when they p***ed her heel and bled her, but screamed the place down when they tried to weigh her. just got her clothes back on and gave her back to daddy and she spectaularly filled her nappy - i'm sure people in the next county heard her!! seriously, i'm a mum now, but why do farting sounds still make me giggle!! she's doing fine anyway, only lost 200g since birth, so they think that my feeding technique is ok and said she can be lef tto sleep through the night. hurrah!
got checked over myslef and tol that the dr who did my episiotomy was a butcher, but stiched me very neatly - every cloud has a silver lining then?!! apparently my piles have piles though - nice!! i thought i'd see the back of them when i actually had her!

I'm loving your theory, I think he's being stubborn now because everyone wants him out so bad. Next time Im going to add 2 weeks onto the date I tell everyone, then they will not text and will think he/she is early! The messages are doing my head in now, my nan said 'come on, an elephant gives birth quicker than you!'
Your babies are going to be about 1 by the time mine arrives (ok, so a bit of an exagerration!)

Bath form m bath and feeling so muhc more hum!! Treating myself to a LARGE packet of oreas?!! Madam decided she wanted a feed just as I was in the bath - I see she's going to cause me a lot of trouble in the future!! She's now sleeping by the patio windows to get some daylight as she's fairly jaundiced!!
I have everything crossed for you to go soon!! Sending many labour vibes! I think this might be because you're going to have a quick and easy one

LOL, thats funny, Im sure it won't be when my time eventually comes.
Ive been feeling weird the last few days, not as pregnant! Baby is still moving so not worried but Ive had loads of energy and skin and hair have been behaving. It kind of feels like Ive missed my due date so now its not going to happen. I must sound like Im off my rocker!!
All the pains and niggles have vanished. Hopefully the calm before the storm....Enjoy your bath,

I'm here!!! Off for a quick bath now - Nana told me we had visitors this afternoon, so I'm sitting here in my milk stained pjs, unwashed and chilling - then the visitors arrive, just as Eloise decides she needs a feed but won't latch on!! So, the visitors get an eye full of my boob (and they are Mahoosive now!), Kiss me hello (holding their noses as I haven't washed!) and think I'm a right old cacka!!!!
Not taking a chance with any more lack of communication, so I'm off for my bath now!!

Got a question. How long can you lose your plug for after a sweep. Had sweep at about 4 yesterday and still loosing bloody goo now!
