Hi all, ooh hi Lisa!
I'm also from DIN and by total coinsidence was thinking about this thread too as someone referred me to it when I had a heavy bleed at 7 weeks and was told I had a sub chorionic haemorrhage, so here I am. It was a great help to me and (touch wood) I've had no more bleeding since so it must've been reabsorbed.

just been having a read of our old thread. cant believe it goes back to november, and we had a thread before that too but I couldnt find that one

seems so unreal now all that bleeding yet here we all are with our healthy babies, big and small.
lets hope that none of the new DIM09 mummies have to face anything like we did, but if they do, I hope that there's plenty of support, dont think I could've got through so well without the haematoma girls.
bye-bye DIM08 xxx

ps if you are still here louise, PLEASE join us, you know where we are!!

Hi All
Im gatecrashing from DIN, I posted on this thread a while back when I was told I had Subchorionic Haematomas at 12 Weeks, I had my 20 Week Scan today and no mention of them what so ever so they must have absorbed themselves, Thank You for the support You gave back in May when I first posted, All the best to You All xxxx

Hi Louise, I have emailed you so that you have my addy too.
We put Ollie in his bouncy chair after a feed, its just a good way for us to keep him upright and entertained at the same time. I try not to let him go straight to sleep after a feed unless its the bedtime one.
We'll have to move out if DIM next month wont we? How scary that there's a new crop of DIM09 just waiting in the wings. If we're staying on Bounty, perhaps we should put our thread in Past DIM, as 0-3 moves a bit too quick. Theres hardly anyone goes in PDIM so our thread will never be lost

take care xxx

Hi Girls,
Thanks for all your sweet messages you are all so kind.
I don't really like the idea of joining facebook - nothing personal against you girls just that I don't want all my details and messages for anyone to read if you know what I mean.
I can give you my email address if any of you are interested and annmarie please feel free to give me your mobile number would be great to have all your support.
Lately we are noticing Luke seems a bit whingey/grizzly after feeds and we cannot work out as why he brings the wind up well during the feed and after and drinks his milk well say around 5.5 oz per feed and doesn't seem hungry after (could be wrong on the feeds he drains his bottles we top up anyway so not sure what is going on there any ideas?
I keep thinking he's got silent reflux or perhaps he drinks so much in one go, gives himself tummy ache so after most feeds ends up having his dummy! and sitting in his bouncy chair his this normal then dozing off to sleep? will mention next time I get him weighed.
xx

Louise, dont go, we miss you

Am glad to hear Luke is doing well, and drinking so much milk, little piggy! I have managed to get Oliver down to about 35oz now, from 49oz before his milk was changed!! Im so glad that Luke is so good for you.
Sorry you are having some problems with ds. You definitely need to try and find some time to get on bounty or facebook so you can let off steam to your friends, even if its only every couple of weeks. Dont forget that Michelle, Annmarie and myself all have toddlers roughly the same age or a year older than yours so if you are having problems, you can bet that one of us has either had the same or is going through it right now, and it's good to share problems.
please keep in touch Louise. Hope to see you in the ex-haematoma facebook group soon xxx

Hiya Girls,
I hope you are keeping well.
I'm so sorry haven't been on having been on Bounty much I don't ever get a spare minute now with two!!!! - and also my two year old has chicken pox - woke up with in on Monday, so don't think I will get time to go onto Facebook either.
So this maybe a final goodbye from me but wanted to say thank you for all your support over the last few months you have been wonderful wishing you all the best with your babies and with everything.
Fingers crossed Luke seems to be a good baby for me and likes his milk (he'll be 5 weeks old on Sunday and has around 30+ ounces of milk) - lets hope it lasts.
I still got lots of issues with my 2 year old that are getting me really down, firstly the lack of speech says about 4 things (although we on the list for speech therapy), he is having crying/screaming fits now when I take him anywhere i.e. friends houses/doctors/groups etc wich is so embarrasing so have stopped taking him anywhere except nursery, and still have feeding issues. All these probs not helped by the difficult pregnancy i.e. not getting out as much so I have my work cut out!!
Love to you all,
Love Jaffa xx

lol i'm sorry didn't mean to sound like a mum.
i think i might do that with Aaron to start with just send him 3 morning a week hopefully it wont be as bad for either of us then.
Michelle have u named the baby yet?

Yes mum, I'll keep my eye on it then. That part of my scar has not been right from the start, the end of the stitch was left poking out and it didnt heal round it properly - but i have shown it to 3 midwives and 2 doctors and they all said it was ok, so I left it. i wont be happy if it gets infected now.
I only sent annabelle to nursery for 3 morning sessions a week. In september she will be entitled to her 5x free sessions but i think i will leave it at 3 because I also like having her around (but not ALL the time!) Its nice because she gets to socialise and I get to spend a bit of time with Oliver on my own.
going to try and wake Oliver up now for another attempt at a dream feed to see if he sleeps a bit longer. Fingers crossed xx

i woke up the other day and about an 2cms abov th scar was really swollen the as the day went n it just seem to spread right across so i went to doctors th next day and they said there not sure what it is but they are gonna treat as internal infection and a skin infection so different tablets and the one for the skin made me really sick feel better since i havn't taken it thank god i'm still swollen, hurts worse than after c section
Aimme not doing to bad with feeds about every 3 hours not taking much though only 3 oz but hv not worried as she putting on weight.
Aaron sis the same told us he didn't want pull ups on as he not a baby like Aimee so we just thought we would give it a try.And that was it.In a way its i find it quite sad as proud as i am and i know he has to grow up but that was the last one apart from nursery,i dont what i'm gonna do in september as i've been putting of sending him,but i know it will do him good,i just love having him around.Oh well never mind i'm sure i'll survive lol
I'd ask about urs pusing as i left mine with the first abcess and it come back real big and now i have this.Dont wanna scare u but i wouldn't wish this on anyone

think I found you annmarie xx still not that sure how to use the thing once Ive managed to find all my friends though. Theres too much information on there for my poor post pregnancy tired brain to take in.
Hows aimee sleeping? Hope she's doing ok. Oliver is a lot better now, he has lasted about 9-10 hours between his feed at 5.30pm and his night feed. We have tried a couple of times to feed him again at 9ish to see if he will go through the night, but he doesnt really drink anything, then vomits back what he did drink. He just doesnt want it so we are stuck with a feed at 3am then he's awake for the rest of the night. Anyway, one thing at a time I guess, at least we sorted the screaming out.
congrats to yur ds for being dry at night. Annabelle has only been dry for about 3 weeks as well. We werent going to start her until she was well settled with the new baby, but she insisted that she didnt want her nappy any more so I let her leave it off, convinced her bed would be sodden in the morning and she was dry. No accidents so far fingers crossed xx
Poor you, having another problem with your scar. How do you know there is an internal infection, has your scar gone red or sore again? Mine came open at one end last week, only about 1cm, but it was swollen, and when I touched it very gently a load of pus came out. Gross. Seems ok now though, it has scabbed over and doesnt hurt. I really hope you get sorted out soon xxx

Hi
Seen as there are a few of us DIM with haematomas I thought I would start a thread for us all. I am finding it very hard and it is great to share with people who know what you are going through.
My Story so far.....
After a HUGE unexpected bleed at 12wks, I was told I have a subshronic haematoma that was 5cmx5cmx3cm - I have a few days where the bleeding slows and then it floods again - So I have been bleeding for nearly 4 weeks !!
The hospital will not give me any more scans until 20wks as they say the baby is fine so I have booked a private scan for Monday so see how big it is as just started flooding again today.
Good Luck to you all our there living with this...
Amy
