    I have signed it.

Isabella is a bit colicky but her main problem is reflux. We only got prescribed something for her reflux cos I went to the docs and told them that I thought she had reflux. I had taken her to the docs the day before and they fobbed me off like I didn't know what I was doing with her and we had had such an awful 24hrs with her. She was like a different baby!

    xx

I have created a petition to the government to instruct health visitors and gp's to offer more support to families with colicky babies

When you have a colicky baby you are told that all you can do is wait for thm to outgrow it! meanwhile you are stuck indoors with a baby that SCREAMS anything up to 12 hours a day! This can cause so many emotional problems like PND, family upset, anxiety, stress. Also in sevre cases it can lead to child abuse. I am not an agressive person but through my sons colic time I have found my anger rise and had to place him in his crib and walk away.

There is no cure for colic but there ae things that can reduce the amount of hours of crying and steps you can take to empower you as a parent such as the 5 S cuddle cure. Also all colicky babies should be tested for lactose intolerance and reflux or other allergies. (but hey thats another petition   )

My doctor told me to turn the tv up. HELPFUL!!!

Whether you have a colicky baby or not back us mums who do. Its so hard living with a screaming infant.

Have a read and if you agree PLEASE SIGN!
