glad all was ok with you emz - sounds similar to what happened to me glad you were reassured too, me too only 5w and 4d to go till scan whens yours? mine 12th jan @4pm

been spending more time in DIJ (now my date was altered) i felt i never really settled in DIM (besides this thread) and still visit over in the group i was in on TTC and high risk and general so i guess im floating around xxx

Hey guys,
Spent yesterday morning/afternoon in triage at the maternity hosp, me n dh dtd (for the 1st time since pg, poor man!) on thursday and I started bleeding after it
so he insisted I went to get checked out, thankfully all is fine and heard bubs heartbeat and felt a little kick when she pushed the doppler in so they wouldnt scan me as they found the HB no problem (pity as I would have asked to know the sex if they did, still only 5 more weeks until I find out!)Been told to take it easy but thats easier said than done with another baby to look after! Just gave me a bit of a fright though, anyways how are you ladies? very quiet recently,

So glad all's ok!! Im more worried about this bub than I was with Eilidh, and heres me thinking it would get easier the more babies you have lol
Feeling really flabby recently, heartburns come back too ooooh the joys lol anyways just a quick one to say glad all is ok xxx

hwy girls thanks for asking emz im ok now hun was a bit scary there for a while i saw emergancy mw on the monday and found baby hb (@13w) so wasnt refered for a scan and was told to take it easy for a few weeks , bleeding started easing and stopped by wednesday night, had another MW visit on Friday again found hb and was happy with that she basically told me try and forget it and enjoy the rest of the pregnancy (no idea wht caused it or anything like that didnt seem over worried either) so although its now turned me into a manic knicker-checker im ok and just taking it easy i tell ya it was the scariest thing ever and to think so many girls on ere have had similar woth not so nice outcome has made me feel blessed.
hope you both are ok taking things steady and enjoying the expansion of your tums

Sorry Im not abandoning you!! Just things been busy lately, Our Christmas decs are finally up and soooooo excited, been really weepy recently, crying at silly things lol was reading a thread on the Christmas threads on this and it was about what people do on christmas eve and I started welling up at the thought of it being Eilidhs first christmas lol that and Tv adverts lol
How are you now Lins? bleeding stopped? Im still a knicker checker, dont think that will ever change!!
My next app with MW is 9th Dec, going for my double test and pick up my notes then too after that its my 20wk scan on 6th Jan.
Anyways off now cos burstin for loo!! speak soon

sammie sorry about your ordeal wiv needles sweets , by the end of the pregnancy though i bet you would have gotten over the fear and sorry hun but the she was right giving birth will be worse but you'll be glad as every push and pain is a step closer to meeting your little bundle and thats a pain woth putting up with and believe me you do forget the pain when its over........
anyways guys an update on me things got really bad after i posted, my pink turned to bright red proper bleeding(like heavy period) and i s**t myself so bad was in total shock and cried for england, rang back(about 10.20) MW and said still come in at 12 20 as arranged unless its uncontrolable bleeding, and basically, i went and they found baby heartbeat so reassured that bubs is ok at the moment! and basically no explanation of the bleeding, just maybe this or maybe that, proberbly a burst blood vessel they think but now im just to take it easy and rest up, so overnight the bleeding has all but stopped and now turning brown so looks like the scare is over but my god it was scary and never in all my other(4) pregnancies have i had anything like it.
so things are ok but i swear im going to be a knicker watcher for the next 6 months,
hopefully you are both well and staring to get to the point where youre enjoying the experiance

Hey girlies....
Hope all is well with your pregnancies....i had my blood tests...nearly broke waynes fingers i was squeezing them that hard lol!!!! I absolutely hate needles...i was sat in the midwives meeting office in the birthing unit..and there was another midwife there and she said blood tests are nothing compared to having a baby lol!!! I was being a bit of a wimp....but i do hate needles lol!!!
Lins hope everything went ok with the midwife hun and all is well.
Emz thats a good idea with the cooking...much healthier for them and probably cheaper in the long run...think im going to that.
Well next appointment with midwife on 12.12.08...my next thing to look forward to lol!!!!

Hey girls sorry Ive been MIA , had a weekend off from the pc.... so to answer a few ? Yep samm think dates right ue 1st and today it makes me 13w+0 (monday) and we have my stepson Ashley-17 , son Jamie ~12, son Bailey~ 4 , daughter Dannii~ 3, and son Morgan~ 20 months, so you can see why id maybe want another girl in the house?
anyway girls thats me caught up but gotta go be back later gotta see MW this lunchtime had some low pain and what looks like blood in with normal discharge so gonna check me over , sure all is well but never had anything like it before with any of them so a little worried. let you know how i get on.

lol alls fine, how'd it go hun?
I'm not actually too fussed either way, would be easier on us if we had a girl as we live in a 2 bed house and everything we have baby related is pink! but I'd still be happy with a boy.
Col's going up the attic tomorow to get our tree down, I'm so excited!! have got a very clean living room in preperation lol
Have just done a massive cook off for Eilidh's meals, I make up a batch then freeze them in Annabel Karmel cube trays, pop em out and into bags so they are ready just to grab outta the freezer and defrost for lunch/tea etc have always made her food so really into the way of it now and last time I tried her with a jar she spat it out so Im hoping this means she likes my cooking!!
Lins how old are your kids hun?
Anyways hope all went well Sammie look forward to hearing news soon!!

I have my downs syndrome scan and bloods tomorrow so im looking forward to getting that part over and done with...im excited to say hello to my iccle bubba again but at the same time nervous.

Great news emz so happy for you now that you've seen s/he, its more real and maybe will stop worrying a little and start to enjoy yippeee!!!! cant wait to find out either my scan not till 12th Jan so i will be the last of us to find out but heres to thinking Pink, my other wriggly baby was my dd so heres hoping but it'll be what it'll be ....xxxx once again thanks for letting us know all went well xxluv'n' hugs Lins

Hey ladies
All went well, Im now due 29th May so 12+6 today, baby was lazy, lay there and gave a little wave then kicked but that was it, it looks so long too, Col's convinced its a boy!
I will get a pic on later tonight but wanted to let u's know that all is ok, phew!
Got my next scan 6th Jan so hopefully we'll find out if it is a boy lol
anyways gonna go grab something to eat

yep sammie no longer the same but then my youngest ds was 4 days early so who knows (as was another was, 4days, 7days and 14days late) will just wait and see.
glad evrythnig is going ok for you
scan date for the 12th jan hopefully they'll tell what sex it is....... if not a 4d one some time in march which i am really looking forward to.
well catch up soon when emz tells us all went well today

I just realised have worked mine out wrong too, i am only 4+3 i know its only a day less but its a day i have lost aaaarrrrrgggghhhhh!!!! Lol. Oh well.
