I know of 4 woman being told the wrong sex of their babies. I guess they don't always get it right, and I have to say it put me off knowing with my pregnancies. But also they must do thousands and get them right so it must be a very small minority x

I have been talking to a lot of people including a midwife and it's a lot more common than we all think to be told the wrong sex! I give up thinking about it now lol. Spoke to the manager of my next store today and she said if needed she will exchange everything if I end up with a pink baby. Xx -

i am abit coffuzzled now was told a girl at the 20 week scan but i have been out and bought all these girly bits and i cant help thinking what if it is a boy? i told oh how i felt and he said well if it does end up being a boy we can take the tuff back and go shopping all over again lol! not too long to find out for sure now anyways.xx -

I went for a private gender scan at 17weeks 3 days and was told it was a girl. I couldnt see any boy bits at all and the sonographer assured me she had never been wrong "so far". So i went for my 20 weeks scan and asked again for clarification to then be told it was a boy!!! I then explained to the hospital sonographer about the gender scan she then asked another staff memeber to check for me and he also said he could see boy parts. So i came away from that being so confused. Called the private scan place and was rescanned to then be told it was a boy! And still now at 22 weeks i am still not 100% sure what i am having so have went for neutral stuff. I felt for the beginning of my pregnancy i was having a girl and now i have decided not to get stressed out about it and see what my little bundle of joy is when he/she is born.

they tell u that they might get it wrong when they tell u the sex. i know a few people who were told wrong , go with yr mother instects hun i was right with all mind 2 girls 2 boys.

i've heard of 2 people i know getting told wrong sex, most recently a friend got got told it was a girl and had a boy and she had loads of pink frilly clothes ready for the baby!

Think Im gonna book a 4d scan too as Its getting more and more common for them to get it wrong. When i asked if she was sure she said I cant say for definate but it looks like a scrotum. Gonna hold off buying loads of blue untl after my 4d scan xx

It was clear as day that there was a willy at my scan! Hope it is as everything is blue lol x -

When my DH was havign his first he was told by the sonography they she thought it was a boy and out popped my step-daughter. I'm guessing they can be wrong, but they don't normally say unless they are treally sure and even then they say they can't be 100% accurate

Yeah, when she said its a girl, I was a bit shocked lol! coz I m feeling like having boy. I asked her are u sure?Then she pointed and said I see this line and dont see any penis, its a girl. She seemed a bit rushed as well.

Hi Has anyone been told or know of anyone that was told they were having a boy only to give birth to a girl? Ive been talking to alot of friends and a few people that are in my area were told that theyr were having a boy and had a girl.The reason I ask this is because I had my scan they said boy but never actually pointed out a willy.I have 2 boys already and I could make it out on the screen with them.All the old wives tales point towards a girl. xxxx
