Hi ladies...my little girl is 8 weeks and has been in our bed from the 1st week!! i'm too scared to put her in her bed because she has reflux...it would be good to for her to sleep in her place..any advice?

I moved ds at 8 weeks> my dd is now 6 weeks and we are just painting her room and then she is going in there. I think it's what suits you best. personally my dd is a noisy sleeper so I'll be better with her moved as I will only wake when she needs feeding.

Has anyone put their babies in their own room at night yet. Eloise is 4 weeks old tomorrow and I wondered if this was too early to put her in her nursery. Her moses basket looks very small and uncomfortable now and I just thought she'd be better off getting used to a bigger cot. I have a monitor with a sensor pad so I don't see that it makes a difference whether she is in my room or her own. What does everyone else think? With my DS I made the mistake of not only letting him stay in our room but also in our bed and at nearly 5yrs he's still in and out of it now. I don't want to make the same mistake twice.

My lo has been in her own room for nearly a week a now. We have found that she sleeps a lot better ( upto 7 hrs a night) as she has more room to move around in than her basket.
We have one of those sensor mats and she also has one of those things that reduce the size of the cot (can't remember what ts called!).
I think its down to own preference and you have to follow your own instincts (sp?), my hv was surprised when i said she is now in her own room, she would have a heart attack if she knew that lo sleeps on her front
