To tell you the truth salacius i'd prefer not to have a period!!

My lo is also 9 weeks, 10 weeks tomorrow.

My scar is healing ok but just like you i get some pain when lifting heavy items. I also have some numbness at the right side of my scar but my Dr says this is normal and i should regain feeling when my stomach muscles get stronger.

    Thanks for all your help.

I'm not to bad now, had a few infections at the begining had a couple courses of antibiotics and touch wood no sign of infection again! I still get pain when I lift heavy things and if i over do it. The area around the scar just feels wierd and as for the scar itself its shrinking gradually.

    My lo is 9 weeks

I had a normal delivery with my eldest so I've now experienced both,

I forgot to say that the only downside i find to the pill is lack of periods. I'd prefer to have one each month so i know I'm still human and relativly normal

Lorraine I was on the injection for over 10 years, then on cerazette for a year and then femulen for 6 months. IN the 6 months I only had 2 periods but I think my body was settling down after never having a period on the injection.

I'm going to ask for Femulen again, I found this to be a better mini-pill for me than cerazette Lorraine

i wanted to try the implant but gp advised to wait a little longer not sure it was cos i had c section or not.

i can't take the metformin again until i stop bf which i'm p***ed off about, but i'm too lazy to be dealing with bottles at the moment especially as its summer hols and need to entertain a  9 yr old all day. its bad enough trying to use washables!

I've been put on this as i'm BF.

I started taking the day after my 7 week check up even thou periods haven't come back. from what i remember from taking them last time was that I didn't get any periods whilst taking them. I did end up putting on weight but not alot but the Gp thinks it was more to do with PCOS than the pill. When I came off the pill to tcc i was given Metformin to treat the PCOS and I lost about 10kg in  a year.

She's given me 3 months worth and I have to go back then to get bp done and weight check.

I think the weight gain is a side affect that doesn't effect everyone tho. All types of female contraception has it stated as a side effect

    I have a questionLollipopz

......My Dr has prescribed this for me but i haven't started taking it as yet as i don't want it to make my periods return or make me gain weight. Is anyone else taking this, and if so can you let me know how you're getting on with it?

Thank you to all who reply...
