I went to cuba for my hoonymoon.  We stayed in Varadero in the sandles hotel.  It was lovely.  The only bad thing about Cuba is when you go site seeing to places like Havannah, aprart from it being a gruleing 6 hr coach trip (there & back)  you have the locals begging for money & it really does get a bit much!  when you go into a toilet you have old ladies handing out the toilet roll in exchange for money!!  You have people asking you for soap & shampoo etc.  It really doesn't stop.

Swimming with the dolphins is must, we loved it & the speed boat trip (which you drive) to a animal reserve with crocs etc.  There's plenty to do & i would recomend you going but if you don't like being constantly hastled don't go into the poor citys.

My friend went last year, I can not remember which part, but remember there was something funny about currency, where you cannot leave the country with cuban dollars.  Do not know how true that is??
