i got worried last night and took my patch off.... was thinking maybe thats what was making the bleeding last so long. will try and get an appointment at the docs for this wk i think...

Hi hun, I stopped bleeding when Livvy was 3 weeks & started back on the pill then my period came a few days later. It lasted for nearly 3 weeks & I had 3 days of been super heavy & having to change my pad every half hour. I saw the nurse & she said it was normal as my body was getting back to normal. I've stopped bleeding now.

See your doc for reassurance but it sounds normal xxx

Make an appointment hun you do need to get an answer to why your still bleeding

I stopped bleeding when Lincoln was 3 weeks old. 2 Weeks later when he was 5 weeks i came on my period and started using my Evra patches. My period was very very very light to start then about 7 days in started getting slighty heavier. Its now been 16 days since i came on though and im still bleeding Have been getting alot of bloody discharge aswell (sorry tmi i know) Also, i keep getting dull aching pain low down in my stomach thats sort of like a period pain but not iykwim... Ive also been taking antibiotics for the last 4 days for cystitis (sp)

Im really getting worried about the length of time ive been bleeding and the aching pain....

Has anyone else experienced this?

Ive not had my post natal yet as the doctor isnt doing it until 8th Sept.... Do you think i should wait till then or try and make an appointment now?
