hi hun gatecrasher here lol,
anyway your doing the right thing by wearing gloves. i would make sure you always use littler tray liners so you can just pick up the bag. i would nt scopp out poo just change the whole tray. you should be fine its only when you comei in to physical contact with the poo.

Right girls in a bit of a dillema Ive always wanted a cat so a few months back my DH bought me one, now Ive found out im pg im really worried bout getting Toxoplasmosis from changing the litter tray Ive asked my dh if he would mind just whilst im pg if he would do it for me but he said no and if I am that worried to get rid of the Kitten, Ive been using gloves to change the litter but still am worried what would you lot do?

Hi, I am gatecrashing too sorry x
I have 2 house cats my hubby has been good and has been changing the tray for me however of course my cats don't poo on demand so I do have to still do it during the day.
I make sure that I wear gloves and I change all of the litter and replace it when I do it. I then wash my hands and I have also got some hand stuff that I rub in after to kill all germs just in case.
I did mention it to my mw at my booking in appointment as you can be tested to see if you have it but she did say that if you are careful then I should have been fine. She said that even people that work in the vets dont normally get tested.
Just make sure you keep doing what you are doing and you will be fine.
Good luck with everything x
