before i knew i had some cough medicine that says you should consult a dr before using if pregnant, but what can you do, if you didnt know you didnt know. And most people are imune to toxoplasmosis if they have had cats as pets too.

Thanks girlies
I know I'm probably worrying to much - it doesn't help that I look on the interenet trying to self diagnose problems !... I promised myself I wouldnt worry as much as did with ds1 but clearly not !
Eating much healthier now, anyway
Thanks

Try not to stress about what you've done before you found out you were pregnant. I've had this talk with the doctors this time around and last time iw as pregnant.
Two weeks ago i went on a 4 day drinking binge (i dont drink.. i gave up when i found out i was pregnant with my first 2 years ago or more).. but it was aspecial occasion...
Last time i was pregnant i was out partying and dabbling in some stuff i wont mention,, adn then found out i was pregnant. I was sooo concerned i talked to the doctor and she said it was fine..
as long as we dont do these things from now on we are alright.
Oh i had shellfish, oysters and mussles the other day before finding out and i dont think w'ere meant to eat that coz of some reason.
Just please dont worry yourself over it. xx

With dd I didn't realise I was pg til 5+ by which time I'd drunk a whole bottle of bubbly and eaten all sorts of bad stuff. If you feel ok I think you probably are. Ask Mw if you are worried hun x -

Hi
before i kniw i was pg, i had some steak cooked medium and now been reading about toxoplasmosis that you can catch from eating undercooked meat.
Now im really worried that i have caught it - anyone else done the same ?
Thks

The little bean only implants fully around 4 weeks pg, so until then is fairly self sufficient, and to be honest, is only getting your blood from then... these things are only precautions because of a very low risk and are advice. Most things have not been tested on pregnancies as it's unethical and they really don't know the risk... if you did something 'bad' a week or 2 ago and are still ok, pregnant and fine, then I'm sure this bean is meant to be!!!! Have a happy pregnancy xxxx
