where i am u get either as dating scan or a scan around 12 weeks - but i had one last pg at 6 weeks cos of bleedin and cos of that i didnt get a 12 week scan (where they check for abnormalities etc)...so this time as i know roughly when i conceived and had no bleeding i am waiting until my "12" week scan which is actually given between 10-14 weeks. then after this i will have 20 week scan. so hth xxx

Where I live it is around 12 weeks then I get another around 20 weeks but I think it can vary from place to place tbh.  hth Xx

Saw the doc on fri and he's sent off for my dating scan which he said isnt at 12 weeks its before but i didnt think to ask is it instead of the 12 wk scan or do you have both? Does anyone know?
