I'm really glad I'm not the only one struggling. I've only been like it since last week or so. I can get off to sleep fine but start waking halfway through the night and have awful dreams/sleep. I can cat nap brilliantly on the sofa in the evening and sleep terribly all night even when I'm really sleepy. Whats making it worse the last few days is my head just seems to be always hurting too
I found that hot chocolate and a new spiced chai drink I found in asda seems to help a little but then I have the problem of needing a wee halfway through the night

chucklie, everything you jst said is exactly how I feel. Its so upsetting and frustrating. I want to feel happy and excited but its so hard. I keep thinking the lack of sleep with make me tired enough to sleep at night. But no matter how sleepy I am during the day I am wide awake at night. AAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHH

Have you tried relaxation tapes or massage. They can be so helpful and get you into a mood that can just make you drift off. Good luck girlies. I'm ok just now with the sleep, except my neighbours wake me at 5.30am each morning...grr!!

omg i feel like this too at 7,8 and 9 weeks and need some help, desperately!
i’ve had to take a week off on annual leave as after a week of not sleeping, i found myself constantly tired. i’m whacked in the daytime and feel like taking cat naps, but then it comes to night time and i’m almost dreading going to bed as i know i’ll lay there wide awake, all night! i’ve tried warm milk but that’s just sat in my stomach and i’ve had to get up a few times because i felt i was going to throw it all back up
my problem is i can’t get comfortable on either side, i’m a tummy sleeper and even that feels uncomfortable now. i feel nauseous in the evenings and this makes sleeping worse, as i’m always hungry! grrr!
i need help as my constant t*** and turning is also ruining my very understanding hubby’s sleep but also coz this is putting a real damper on the excitement of being pregnant! i thought pregnancy is meant to be a fantastic experience and not an illness, but i’m struggling to see the light! someone give me a miracle!

I am so tired throughout the day but for the past 2 nights I have laid awake all night. Has anyone got any ideas of what tablets if any I can take? Possible herbal ones?

Valerian pills used to help m before I was preggers and wondered if we can take that now?
