hiya I had my scan on tuesay and they put me forward a week and a day so now I am due on 3rd June

I had my dating scan yesterday too. Its 11+1 today .  A few days bigger than i thought but its good news isn't it? Less waiting although you can never know when the baby will come

thats great news!!  i'm due the same day!!

Im glad it all went so well I feel excited for you!! I don't know when my scan is yet I still haven't been able to get to see my midwife yet seeing doc on Mon so will ask about it then.How long do you have to wait for it to be arranged? I am 10 wks today so I hope it doesnt take to long.

yeah your right, i think I am just moody at the moment and taking it out on him.

I think he will be excited, plus I have been so over dramatic about everything these last few weeks and I think he is trying to be as normal as possible to calm me down a bit which is nice in his own way!

Did you get your 20 week scan whilst you were there, is all exciting isn't it!

Wellenor, that's men, they block so much out to avoid getting hurt but he'll e there for you when you most need him. 

Try not to push him out, my dp felt like a right outsider until yesterday, now he's part of my secret club and that's special 

During the early days he felt pushed out and didn't appear interested, even to the point of going on a weekend bender with his cronies, but hopefully we've turned the corner now.

im starting to wonder if my OH will be excited or not, I had to go to the doctors this morning as a stupid Midwfie scared the living daylights out of me yesterday and when i got up and went this morning he had forgotton, which to me shows he isnlt that bothered about it all.

Its not as if I gave him chance to forget, I was crying about it all last night!

I hate men at the moment, they annoy me!

It'l be great hun, you wait and see.  I feel so much more positive than I did a couple of days ago it's weird coz I was so negative and imagining the worst about everything, female coping mechanism heehee.

Aw yeah I bet! Its so nice to have my OH to share it with, becos me and my DD's father split just before my 12 week scan so missed out on sharing the experince with the father, I was quite happy to do it alone tho then. But this time round it is really nice to share it with the father! And its his 1st so I am sure he'll be in awe too!

My DD is coming to, its at 950am so cant get anyone to have her that early, I dont mind tho cos I think she will quite enjoy it too! I just hope it goes ok for that reason also, wouldnt want to burst into tears and have her all confused and upset!

ya know, it's funny watching the couples come out after their scan, most of the men look so bewildered and shell shocked and the womed are, well just bursting for the loo!  No honestly, if you taking you dp/dh, he'll be overwelmed and I think it makes them feel part of it too, as they can actually relate to the baby. xxx

Thanks hun, it's just amazing, and you will be absolutely fine, however I fully understand that nothing I can say will stop you worrying, that's just natural, even my dp had butterflys yesterday.

Im the same, love reading ppls happy scan stories, kind of reassures u in a way doesnt it?!

Cant wait til mine either, one week today! Gona busy myself next week to make it come quicker (hopefully!) mind u, it has gone quite quickly already, gotthe date through monday before last and thought "Argh! Its ages away!" and now the majority of the wait is over....YAY!!!!!!

yay thats excellent, I love hearing about other peoples scans and when they go so well its lovely.

Mine is on Thursday, I am feeling less worried now after my episode yesterday haha! So I am just looking forward to 2.30 next Thursday when hopefully mine will go aswell as yours xx

After all the nervous waiting for the past few weeks, I had my 12 week scan yesterday and all is well.

Fizzy, as we have nicknamed our growing baby is very lively and wouldn't stay still for a second, it was beautiful to watch and I feel very relaxed and happy about my prgy now.  My dates have changed by one day so now due on 03/06/09, hey ho...

DP was in awe at the screen and for him this is now so real.

I urge all you women with your scans to come, don't panic, don't worry, all the symptons, lack of symptons is just normal and no two women are the same.
