I can't believe have wonderful you're all being. Cheers so much, it can sometimes feel asthough your the only one having symptoms but its reassuring that other people are so happy to share their experiences and advice. Thanks so much you're all right I'm not allowing myself to enjoy this pregnancy nearly enough (but I did have a horrendous ordeal last pregnancy which still haunts me) but I shall start too try!! Thanks

hi hun i have had this pain quite a bit during my pregnancy and like he others say all the pains and discomforts are down to the the muscles and ligaments stretching..i have been admitted into hospital twice now with severe pain on left side and then a weeklater on the right side the one on left was accompanied by bleeding anyway i had scans after these and baby is fine she also told me because i have had an ectopic pregnancy and had a laparoscopy and right fellopean tube removed i will have tissue scarring or something and as my womb is growing its pulling on the scarring making it very painful also if you have ever had abdominal surgery before operation air gets in and your uterus bowel and something else can stick together and again as it grows it stretches causing pain and discomfert. smething that lasts a few seconds isnt anything to worry about, i have had these pains for more than a day in absoloute agony and everything is fine. if you have severe or mild constant pain then i suggest you see someone. can i also say to try and make you feel better...you are near the 12 week mark and risk of miscarriage falls a considerable amount after that but in actual fact the reason for early pregnancy miscarriages are that there was no pregnancy in the first place could of been a sac without an embryo you know and this happens very early on like 4 or 5 weeks. or it is because there is an abormality to the baby or the pregnancy is just not viable...but your baby is nearly fully formed now and i really wouldnt worry at every pain and niggle you get try to enjoy your pregnancy and i know its hard not to worry iv'e had 3 scans and am having my fourth in a few week for god sake lol i even ad bleeding and it was nothing...don't forget what our body is actually going through its bound to give us a few discomforts hunny!!! anyways enough of me rambling on lol take care you and your little one x x x

dont owrry I get them too, if I get up too quickly etc!
The only time I will worry about them is if they last for a long time and get worse, other than that I think it is jus muscle stretching etc!
All normal from what I can gather xx

Hi i had this is my 1st pregnancy and it was how i knew i was pregnant last time as i got it when i turned over in bed. Its a form of Round Ligament Pain which you get a bit earlier as everything is moving around and stretching. It is quite painful and used to just take my breath for a couple of seconds. xx -

Hi have haed stabbing pains as well but no bleeding (10+1). Don't know whether it is the muscles stretching etc or the fact that I haven't been to the toilet for days (tmi I know)

I get that from time to time like a sharp stabbing pain.Ive put it down to my muscles being pulled out of shape as it always happens if im lifting or bending in a strange position. Ask your midwife about it and see what she thinks but I think its normal.

Hi I'm 9+3 and today after playing on the floor with my ds I got up and was doubled over in pain on my right hand side, low stomach / pelvis area. It didn't last too long and is just achy a bit. Will I be alright?? So far had an ok preg no bleeding etc but still worried, my oh is away for the next 2 weeks so have no one to tell me to stop being silly (if I am being). Fortunately I do have a mw appt (my booking in one) on Monday I just hope I'm ok till then. Thanks for reading

I had ligamnet pains really badly last time, every time I moved too quick or even coughed or sneezed it hurt. I don't have them as bad this time so maybe all my insides are so stretched out of shape they just don't care anymore lol.
