i had this with my last pregnacy

i had to have blood test take to make sure it wasnt something else all was ok mind but i would mention to mw and she will explain.

if it was just your tummy you would expect this due to strecthing but if its everywhere could be something else

Hi there - I've had this with all my pgs (all 4 of them incl this one LOL) In fact it was the itching that first made me suspect I was pg! My mw said it was due to incrfeased blood flow to the skin and may be linked to hormones and generally wasn'y anything to worry about in early pg. BUT it can indicate a liver prob I think if the itching is on hands and feet and is towards end of pg (think I've got this right, apologies if not!) so it would be worth giving your mw a shout just to be sure. All I found which helped was loads of E45 cream - but I must say I didn't end up with any stretch marks!!!

i had the same in my last preg, i had a rash all over my bump and boobs! it was itching really bad and i went to the docs and they gave me some cream, didnt really help but cooled it 4 me. i had that round 35wks thow! i hope i dont get it again, i use to use my brush to itch it!! lol it was that bad.

Hi All I can think of is the skin stretching may be causing u to itch, I had it last time but not til later on and it was just my bump? Hth?

Or just google 'Itching during pregnancy' and something may come up there with an explanation, if not mention it to your midwife maybe? xxx
