I've put on about half a stone since I found out. I was looking at my preg notes the other day and it had my bmi on there. I've had a look on the net and according to that I'm borderline obsese! I'm only 9st 12lbs! I know I'm only small (5'2'') but surely that isn't obese?! My df laughed when I told him - he thought I was joking. When I'm at the end of pregnancy it means I'll be dangerously overweight.

Is the bmi accurate?

I am 12+4 and had my scan last tues and the midwife told me I am on the boarder of overweight I was amazed dont get me wrong I have put on nearly a stone but I am usually slim and the weight gain I put on is on my boobs (nearly the stone) ha and my waist, I was in shock my boyfriend was not too happy as I started to eat little amounts and he was shocked a midwife would say that to a pregnant girl.

im comin upto 12 weeks and ive lost half a stone, but ive ad alot of sickness and im struggling to eat cos it jus makes me feel so ill all the time. xxx

Hiya girls!! am cumin up2 12wks on fri!!! yey! and the amount iv put on is round 6 to 7lbs, which isnt that bad for me, last time i put about a stone and a half on  i think thats cuz i didnt feel sick at all and just ate!!!  am usually thin so u  can really tell when iv put weight on so everyones noticeing even 2 or 3 pound u can see on me. Me fella did me head in this morning by saying... when he had hes hand round me...whats this!!! meaning my hips as iv gone bit chubby round the waist, he said he was joken but it still does ya head in!!

hi this is my third baby and i hardly gained any weight at all with the first two, but they weighed me at 9 weeks and i was 9st 6lbs and when i was weighed at 12 week scan i am now 10st 2lb lol!! but i have not stopped eating haha, from minute i get up to minute i go to bed im eating!!!

I gain weight so easy without the preggers excuse lol. I had to come off my reductal wen ifound out ( appitite reducing tablet) now its piling on with revenge LOL

I'm 9+5(ish) and had put on 7lb but had a bug this week and have lost 5 of them. Gonna try & not just pig out for the sake of it as I know that's why I'd put those 7 on . Right then, where's that cake? (carrot cake of course!)

im 12+2 and iv put on 1 stone 4lbs! am gutted but have not held back on food so only have myself to blame really!

how much weight did you all gain in the first 12 weeks?

i haven't had any sickness so i havent been affected by that, in fact i've just been starving all the time. i feel ill i dont eat when i get hungry but this is starting to have an effect on my waist.

i read your not supposed to gain weight in the first trimester but im 11 weeks tomorrow and have already put on 4-5lb.
