Hiya!! am worried about the same thing to hun, my 1st baby was 7 days over due, and when i went in hospital it took another 2 days b4 i met him! i had a long painfull labour and to top it of after 24hrs of contractions i had to have a emergency c-section. I dont want go throw that again and i dont want go overdue! am worried incase i have to have a c-section again sarah 11wks 2days xx

My first was 1 day early my 2nd was 6 days late,

i think they jus come wen there ready and they may not actually be late jus because thats the date theyve given you doesnt mean they are gonna be born on that day, with my 2nd they gave me date 19th dec but i still swear she shudnt have been here till the 26th which wud have also made her 1 day early cos she came on the 25th december.

Yep gotta agree with last post no two pregnancies are the same my 1st ds was 10 days late and like you I had to be induced and had ventouse and forceps delievery think I was in labour for bout 29hours in total, my 2nd ds was also 10 days late and again I had to be induced but it was all over in 3 and a half hours, I went in in the morning and came home that evening so goodness knows whats gonna happen this time round with baby number 3 xx

I have learnt that there is no rhyme nor reason to this.  My first lo was 9 days early, so i expected the same for my next pregnancy, but my second lo was 9 days late!  They do say that normally first babies tend to be late rather than early, but i am not normal.  lol x

I was 15 days over due with my first child, and it took three pesseries, and the vontuse to get him out, it was four days in all from going to hospital to giving birth, i am now expecting again in June, will it be the same again, or will my body be more prepared this time?
