yay glad it went so well, I like reading all the stories of scans hopefully I will have my own success story on Thursday and will be able to tell you my little bub was waving at me or something.

Although it will probably be sticking its finger up at me saying mum you worry far too much, pack it in hehe

I was SO nervous last night before the scan, especially when they asked me if I'd had any bleeding, I was preparing myself for bad news but there bubs was, it's little heart beat beating away. The reason my HCG levels were low was because I am a week behind where i thought I was. The good news though is that I'm still due in June....just!!....9+2 weeks today and due on 28th June. So I'll be the last one on here reading all about your little bundles arriving and waiting eagerly for my little surprise! Thanks for all your support xx

no it was negative with dd, so no reason why it should be positive this time, i just assume they c***ed it up, i never usually have probs with bloods or pressure etc.

    good luck with the scan.

My heart stopped this morning when i received a letter from the hospital asking for a repeat blood test, it said FBC next to it, which i assume means full blood count, anyway i just thought what if it's something to do with hcg levels and im not pregnant or something, really panicked me. Called hospital to ask and they said it was cos they couldnt test properly for sickle cell and thalassemia so i have to have more bloods taken. Didnt sound too bothered by it, said i could just do it when i go for scan next week.

I had a blood test last week (part of the combined screening test for Down Syndrome) and the hospital called me a couple of days later to say the results show a very low reading which would suggest that I'm not as far gone as I thought I have to go for a dating scan tonight but if my last pregnancy is anything to go by it looks like I might have had another 42 day cycle In any case this means I'll probably be due in July rather than June. I'm just hoping all ok with the bubba....I hate the first scan....!!
