Hey ladies, just a quick Q really, I retained placenta with dd and it was removed manually, basically the cord snapped when mw pulled, so registrar had to come "pull" it out (I think this is part of the reason I had a 2nd degree tear but anyhoo!)

Has anyone else had this but went on to deliver it naturally 2nd/3rd/4th/5th time round?

I didnt bf Eilidh and had the synto injection so thinking these could all be factors in me retaining it too so currently thinking natural 3rd stage and bf may be the way to go but would be interesting to hear of others that have been in the same situation! xx
