Hariet went into the cot at 3 weeks as its a small house and she is sharing with me till my lease is up next year, and i have the moses basket downstairs. She didnt settle properly in her basket and has been sleeping great in the cot, but just put her straight in it. Have heard people putting basket in 1st, which i think is more likely to help if bubs is a bit older as will be used to basket, but she never really got used to hers so didnt see the need.

we have the cot in our room as she will be in there for a while so she has always been in the basket in there. wen she gets bigger it shouldnt be too ew to her just being in th cot as she can see the same bit of wall and ceiling  lol

freddie HATES his moses basket and i didnt have my cot yet so put him in the travel cot, he sleeps fine in it but gets up every couple hours - i think its because they are so hard that he cant stay comfy so hes been sleeping in my bed with me at night to sleep through better (i know naughty me!) but im gettin my cot delivered next week and a rather expensive matress so hopefully he will find it more comfy....and if i add a few bits of mines in there and put the cot next to my bed he should feel like hes with me and sleep just as well in there!. but he loves the space deffinately. if he feels the sides of the moses basket or the bottom of the travel cot hell wriggle around to centre himself for more space.

I will...I meant to be putting her in the cot 2 weeks ago as she hated her moses basket....but all of a sudden she likes it now strange child lol so i am keeping her in the moses basket to get the use out of it! but when i do put her in the cot i will put the basket in there for a few days just so she has something around her that she knows, as she will be going into her own room as well as a new cot.

I'll be putting Abbie straight in cot, no moses basket. Did it with Holly too. She looked lost but loved that she could sprawl out!
