Thanks girls, unfortunately it all stopped about 2.30am, but nevermind. I do have a tens machine, so that should help. Plus, I'm doing all my hand and knees stuff trying to get her turned before labour really starts - might as well give it a go!

    Hiya,

My little girl was back to back but the contractions started in my bump and then spread round to the back. They were very irregular for a long time but were getting stronger.Do you have a tens machine?I used one and the relief it gave my back was fantastic, don't think I could've done without it.

Right at the end of my labour Graces heartrate needed to be constantly monitored as it had been on lowest level they would allow right throughout so MW got me to lie on bed on my left side and lying this way helped the ltitle madam to turn just as she was born.

Good luckhope it is the start of things for you!

hi there, i was induced with a back to back baby and had her on the 14th of july at 40+3. I got the first of my contractions in my tummy, like a band tightening around me,then releasing, but later on as they became more regular, they were all in my lower back and the only way i could get comfortable was with a heat pack on my back and rocking my hips...i hope it's the start of things for you,and hope baby turns at the last minute xxx

Hi, my baby is b2b, and the mw has warned that I may feel contraction sin my back rather than my front. I have had period type pains in my back for over a week, but tonight they seem to be getting stronger then easing, then getting stronger again, like a slow throbbing pain.

Did anyone else who had b2b get this, and do you think it could be the start of things? I'm loathe to get excited, but it is quite painful (like, if I was at work I'd want to go home and have a bath, but not painful like I need gas and air or anything, iykwim!!!) Oh, I'm 40+5 now x
