dont want to read and run, good on you for getting back to doc to put him right i would make a point of saying you dont want to see that doc again, if its a practice where there are other docs you can see, that is shocking!

my son was due to go to the health center for his hearing test and we phoned them up to see if they could check his belly button as was still weeping and bleeding at 5 weeks old. I was appaled when they said they wouldnt check him over. They are supposed to be a health centre and they wouldnt look at a 5 week old baby. We had to take him to the doctor in the end who then gave us medication that was not suitable for a new born as can cause internal damage. What are health people playing at. Im so glad i read the instructions on the medicine and then checked it on the internet and then checked it again from nhs direct. The medicine was discontinued in 2007 so why doctor gave it I dont know. Plus you  would have thought he would have known not to give it to a newborn. We phoned him up and asked why he jhad given it and he said he was sorry and it was a mistake. WE told him it was a good job we checked it out before using it. Sorry for rant Im just so mad that they are messing with my sons health
