Hi i wouldent worry the drs 8 week chec is guide lines , of what babies do but all babies develop at diffrerent times.  when you go in two weeks it will proberly all be fine,  I know with my other children that they have never done as  wanted at there check ups but i knew they   were able , even at two when they were told to build bricks they refused but i knew they were more than able, i really wouldent worry. x

Our lo had his 8 week check today but we have to go back again in 2 weeks because he has "head lag" where he didn't hold his head up or raise it when he was on his tummy and because he didn't follow the dr, or a toy or me with his eyes when we moved.

Trying not to get too worried because I know he does both of the above sometimes even if he didn't do it in the 5 minute window when we were at the docs and maybe isn't doing it as much as is expected by now but it is on my mind.

Going to try him with more "tummy time" for the head lag and monitor how often his gaze follows people and objects.

Anyone else been in this situation ?
