Not been on in so long that I've not had a chance to let you all know how I got on!! I was due on the 17th of July, but ds decided to arrive on the 2nd!! Started with back pain on the Tuesday afternoon but thought nothing of it (very different from how my labour was with dd), just had a bath and paracetomol after dh got back from work. Went to bed after my bath but woke up around 2.30am and the contractions had really started. Paced the floor for a bit, timing them, and when they got to 5 mins apart I thought it really was time to wake dh!! Took 2 attempts before he realised I was wanting to go to hospital!! Lol. Had to phone my mum around 4am to watch my dd and arrived at the hospitel at 4.45am. As my dd arrived so quickly with no pushing I was taken through to the delivery suite around 6.30am. Paced the floor for a bit in there and at 8.30am I got the urge to push. 15 mins later at 8.45am my ds arrived weighing 6lb 15oz. Was ever so slightly shocked at the speed he arrived!! Stayed in hospital for 1 night and was home in my own bed the next day, bliss. Ds has been brilliant baby, sleeps so well. He's been pretty much sleeping through since day 1. I'm sooooo lucky!!! He's now weighing in at a whopping 14lb 8oz at 13 weeks. My dd dotes on him, as does the rest of my family. And now we're looking forward to my sister's lo arriving in Janruary!!!
