sorry its been so long i finally have a min!
Well the birth was horrible! Went in Monday night and had my first lot of gel. Midwife didn;'t go through anything at all with me. After the gel i had really bad stomach cramps all night. Then at 6:30 was given second gel even though m/w said that they could break my waters. Pains started about an hour later and was told that at half 12 i would be going into the delivery suite. Well i didn't they were busy so i was kept waiting. At about 4 i had to put my tens machine on and i was in sooo much pain. Michael kept asking the m/w where my bed was. Eventually about at half 8 there was a space. I had to get wheeled over to the suite as i just couldn't walk. He was in an akward poistion head was down but lying across me and back to back. Had a drip put in my hand to make contractions stronger as due to postion he wasn't moving down. The bloke doing the drip took four attempts to get it in my hand. Then m/w suggested an epidural but i took the lady an hour of trying and she couldn't get it in my back so a consultant had to come and put it straight in. At one point they took all my nail varnish off to do a c-section but luckly his head had come down. Had to push for half an hour then i was cut and used a ventouse in the end. I was in so much pain!!! He was born t 6:37 am 8lbs 6.
I then was discharged Thursday night, then got home and couldn't wee so had to go back into hospital on Friday and had a wee bag fitted with antibiotics and had to go back Monday. Had wee bag removed then went to the toilet was scanned and my bladder is mnassive. So wee bag is now back in and should be coming out on Monday! Its really annoying. It looks as though i picked up an infection while in hospital! Hopefully on Monday everything will be working well though.
Oscar is sooo cute he feeds all of the time though.! My m/w finally came round yesterday and he has actually gained weight and not lost any so that a good sign he is feeding well.

its weird when you get a date to be induced, you know that next week sometime you will see your bubs ..........awwwwww !!!
fingers crossed you go into laour before tho..............would be better , but either way you get to meet your baby boy !!!
we're all good, taking a while to get into juggling a newborn, a toddler , housework etc etc ..............but we are getting there , emily only woke once last ight , shes soooo good!!!

Well once again spent the morning in hospital! Blood pressure was high again, went to get monitored and it went down but due to the amount of swelling of my legs and ankles i am going to be induced on tues my due date. Have to go into hospital mon night and i guess they will start me off on Tues. I am so scared now!!! Would really like it if he made an appearance this weekend but either way he will soon be here!

hiya..................yes i am very proud of myself......................
, abit upset when i think back to the way they treated me, as they blatently didn't believe me when i said how much pain i was in , family and friends said to complain but it won't achieve anything and Emilys here safe and thats the main thing !well Emilys doing well.................i only had to get up twice last night !!!!
well lets keep our fingers crossed that you'll have a labour signs soon !!!!

Hi, just read your birth story, God i can't believe you weren't offered any pain refief. Are you proud of your self for geting through it all though. She has got to be worth it though!!!
Still no signs for me but m/w tomorrow

well Emily Davies was born sunday at 12.21am , weighing 7lb 7oz...........................will write my birth story when i get 5 , only came home from hospital today !!!!

Well im still waiting for some sort of sign that things are happening. Haven't had a show or anything yet. I have been bouncing on my ball loads lately and bump is starting to feel really heavy at the bottom so hopefully he is moving himself down.
Did you have your sweep at hospital? Does it hurt i have an appointment on my due date at the hospital next week so don't know whether they will do me one while im there on not.

well i had another sweep today and am 2-3cm dialted ..................have been havinf pains under my bump spreading to my hips , not regular but they are starting to hurt , so don't know if its pains from the sweep or contractions gonna have to start timing them i think !!!!! am pooping myself now but at the same time very excited !!!!!

quick update ..............had loads more show today after walking about town for an hour ...............................just waiting for waters to pop or contractions now ..lol.....................in for another sweep tomorrow if nowt happens tonight !!! xxx

oh i hope the sweep leads to something for you, all the signs are good then! 8lbs isn't too bad i guess.
I really don't want to go over at all m/w said that i could be anytime but then you never know i had it in my head that it would be this week for me but now im thinking Monday. Im trying everything at the moment going to have a hot curry tonight just to see if anything happens!

on a brighter note CONGRATULATIONS !!!!!!! i just seen pics on fb and hes gorgeous !!! you look well considering what you've been through !!! and i like the pic of your hubby sleeping holding bubs , my dave always nods off holding emily like that and he did with abigail !!!!

we are all great here , non stop all the time but i am managing !!!! been on my own this week , daves working away
i keep getting headaches , health visitor thinks maybe i'm anaemic as i lost 400ml of blood during labour so off to docs tomorrow to get checked over !!!!!
so how long was Oscar he looks long in your pics especially in the bowl lol
