Just opened the ones we bought-they are super extra soft!
(and they wont be in the landfill for the next 90 years!)

I have to say we have not had that problem. Yes DD has a bit of a jay-lo bum but we have never had to go a size bigger.
Infact some of the clothes she is currently wearing are 6-9 months but they are Tesco and George and they come up huge (she is 15 months) most of them we are in 12-18 months.
Anyone still considering well worth it as the cost is less and for the second baby like us is nil other than washing etc and it is no big deal
Haven't used them myself, but my sister did and she was surprised how bulky they were, which meant some clothes had to be a size bigger than bubba was, ie 3-6 month clothes for 0-3 month baby.
Just though it worth mentioning for those of you opting for real nappies.

Ive not really had a problem eigther. I used proper terrys with my 2 ds's and yes they had a big bottom (which is kinda cute when they are crawling). Their newborn fitted for a few weeks and 0-3mths until about 3mths etc etc.
