Hi, im 39 + with my first baby n all yesterday i was getting unbearable period type pain, back pain n pressure down towards my lady parts (sorry) n my bum! I was also getting quite regular contractions , which got me excited cos i thought she was finally coming but then they all of a sudden stopped!! But then sum1 told me braxton hicks dont happen now !! Can that happen like a few days before labour or... what im confused!! Sorry to have babbled on xxx

Hi, I you've described exactly how I feel.  Had a bloody show a couple hours ago and period pains from hell.  Hope this is it as being induced tomorrow at 8 also!  Good luck

Ive had quite bad like menstral cramps and feeling of loads of pressure and like I need a poo and back since since about 3am, i had a bloody show at 4ish and seems to be every ten minutes im getting like a wave of contraction, still manageable to walk about...do you think mine has started??

at 12 days over and literally hours away from being induced! just started the contraction master as by my timing they are only 5 mins apart... iv only been up an hour tho but i vagualy remember waking up with pains during the night and thinkin to myself i aint bothering to count as baby is prob just mucking me about lol

so iv had a bath... finished gettin my bits together and had some cereal. iv not wokenmy oh or mum yet as they will drive me nuts until i know for sure so i think 30 mins on contraction master n then ill decide.

i was meant to be induced at 8 this morning so yipee baby loves me after all and just wanted to give me a scare lol
