thats nice of him   i only have 1 pair of trousers left that fit and yes u guessed they are white - dumb move or what!  I tend to wear my pj bottoms round the house as they are more comfy and leave my trousers for going out but yesterday evening i had on my trousers and the cat came and jumped on my knee with wet paws - no time to wash them so had to go to mw with 2 paw prints on my trousers - aren't i a scrutter

yep this is my first so don't know what to expect either i'm really excited and every twinge i get i think is this it?? but it never turns into anything - i go to bed every night thinking maybe tonight most people say it happens at night, so its really frustrating when you get up in the morning and are still huge, specially when you have dreams that you've already had it - lol

lol i'm exactly the same!!!! ever since mw said about it being all baby in there i was hoping she'd come just that little bit early but nope!!! yeah this is my first so i don't really know what to expect and everyone i know has said 'oooh you don't want to have to be induced its not nice blah blah blah' which hasnt helped!! how about yourself??

god yeah, epidural and c section were 2 last priority things i put on my birthplan. heres hoping we go early or the gels work then. never even thought about that plus then full on contractions... joy of joys lol

but its like i said to mw earlier, they shouldn't give you a date coz it only disappoints when it comes and goes. they should jus tell patient 'sometime in august love' that way we wouldn't know!!

i know that is my fear too i really didn't want to have an epidural but the midwife said to be prepared to change my mind if i have to be induced by drip

aww bless ya. thats another thing, longer they're in there the bigger they're growing!!! i was sent for growth scan at about 28 weeks coz they said i was big for dates but have been normal since and nobody has even guessed weight of baby so she could be 6lb she could be 8/9lb. i'm just scared how being induced makes it more painful straight away, no gentle run up or anything. just keep focused, after this weekend we'll have our babies one way or another. gotta do whats best for baby.

good luck and hopefully all will go smoothly for all of us.

totally know how you feel i'm 8 days late and went to mw this morning for a sweep and she couldn't reach my cervix either so that was a waste of time.  she has booked me for being induced on Sunday - i really don't want to wait that long!!! especially since i had to go for a scan last week coz she said i looked big (i'm only 5ft and small frame no wonder it looks big!!) but they told me at the scan baby looks to be about 8lb 12oz - now i'm scared to death i don't want it growing anymore!!

I know just how you feel hun, my baby is engaged but my cervix has done nothing, went for a sweep sunday to be told that they had to do this walking think with it, nightmare didnt work so back tomorrow to have another go, if that doesnt work then getting a date to be induced, not the way i wanted things to go.

All I want is for her to be here, the same as you happy & healthy heres hoping that we both go into labour b4 the wk end xxx

awww hun, Im fed up and im not even due yet so god knows how your feeling.  I agree with another poster try and get a gym/birthing ball, they really help.  Also dont forget that things can change over a period of a few hours.  XXXXXX

hey, yeah been doing that for about a month now coz they told me to use a ball or chair before and it got her down to 3/5 but shes being stubborn now so mw said chair has a better angle for where she is/needs to be. guess i should just try and get my jobs done ready for saturday. although oh is gonna be biggest problem coz he wont want to leave me overnight for induction, hell be in the car outside lol

Aw hun...(((((HUGS))))) Have you got a gym ball, maybe it would help bouncing for a bit to see if you can get Bubs' head to bang down onto your cervix.  I got a cheapy one from Tesco last week  (about £4) and have been bouncing every day for between 10 and 30 mins and my Bubs moved right down from the brim to fully engaged within a week.  Still bouncing now in the hope that it puts pressure on the cervix
