aww hun sorry not been on for few days so just catching up. u were so excited aswell!! my oh wants me to do this just go away and do it togehter and then later on in life have a proper big wedding but i said no but sounds lovely realy

Lol go you!!! Our wedding was supposed to be tiny just us and our parents and it turned out to be huge and cost us way more than we could afford, all because my oh's sister wanted her boyfriend (who we barely know) to be there

awww hunni, im really sorry things havent gone how you wanted it to, my mum usually likes to take over my plans too, so i decided to have a double wedding with her for my wedding, it was still simple and my mum got to have some ideas for herself too...
only thing is now is my christning for my 2 babies, i want it simple she wants the who shabang... so have to get that tackled now!!!

Thanks all....
I am now all upset and annoyed. We were supposed to be going into get our notices redone today, because of the change of venue, half way there, Graham changes his mind. I was SOOOOO excited. I don't want anyone else out our wedding, because they're already kicking up a fuss, and now, he's changed his mind. SO we never got to the registry office.
So basically, I now HAVE to go through with the whole big family thing wether I like it or not.
Well technically no I don't. I'd cancelled everything for Nov 29th, and now have to go and see if we can back track....and he's leaving me to do that ! ! ! Oh, and our band have cancelled coz someone in the band is having family problems. I totally understand, but think we should give up now ! ! I have a nearly 8 wk old baby, a 4 yr old and a 6 yr old, I really don't need this crap ! !

Good on you, it is your day and all about your commitment to each other. NOT about what everyone else wants. Me and OH were the only ones at our weding and the photographer was the witness, we even went to the extent of getting married in New York because that is what we wanted to do, then had the reception for everyone else in the summer (which to be honest is all they really care about!)

good for you hun, we got married in the dominican and banned anyone coming with us and it was wonderful, we had a blessing when we got back so my mum could have her part but tbh I hated the blessing!!!!!

Oh wow iam so excited for you. Have you got any friends you can get ready at or any way of getting mil out of the house for a bit so you can leave with out her seeing.
