hiya hun, glad duncan settled ok. hows he doing? they usually do sleep a bit unusual first few nights in the cot, i know my son did and am sure his little brother will be the same! keep trying and am sure you'll find its just that rather than the bottles?

I use the Dr Brown bottles with Rubie and they have been brilliant she was a really windy baby and used to be sick all the time due to trapped wind but with these bottles shes so much better. So I would e surprised if its the bottles

aww glad he liked it in his cot we put codie in there at 5 weeks he was to big for his moses basket there a waste of money i think for how long they last codie loved it in there and surprisingly slept through since we put him in there but duncan did well only waking a little, wayne dont even hear codie wake up in the night he always asks in a morning did he get up lol so maybe it was the change of bottles ive never changed codies though hes on the avent ones u could try the dr browns ones for the rest of today then a full day on them u should get a idea if its the bottles he dont like good luck xx

Well at least he went 6 hrs at first hun, i never used the Dr Browns bottles, cant really see it being the bottles tho, lol. Maybe it just where Duncan is in his cot, remember they need to get used to these new things. Maybe try him tonight and see how he goes. I cant believe Luca, hes such a good baby. My other 2 were little buggers, lol. Every 2 hours (even in the night) and even my sisters 2 were the same. Shes hoping her next one turns out like Luca! He fell alseep at 3.30pm yesterday and I had to wake him up and 10pm!!! Gave him a bottle and woke up at 4am and then 7am.

well he was a little more unsettled last night than normal went 6 hours then 1.5 hours, (thats ian's definition of unsettled) Ian isn't blaming it on the cot though he thinks it was the Dr Brown bottles i bought yesterday, he thinks they are giving him more wind, anyone else had that experience?????????

Good luck, intrested to see how Duncan gets on, we will be doing exactly the same soon, same situation our room not big enough for cot- cant belive that Scott will outgrow moses basket soon as he was a prem, but he grown two inches in length in 3 weeks and he gone from 6ib 6oz last weds to 7ib 2 oz today!!! - its his length that causing problems he needs tiny baby clothes size for size of his body but height wise he is nearly out of newborn size!- he only got to kick a couple of times and sudenly his head is at the top of the basket- even though we always put his feet right to the bottom.

Im sure all will be fine with Duncan. He will maybe find a bit strange to begin with as will you. But it will all go ok. Jack will be in with me for a lot longer, as i only have one bedroom and ithink it may be a tad cruel if i out him in the hall cupbaord although it has crossed my mind a few tmes when he cries

Let us know how you get on, but he will be fine im sure.

the last 7 nights we have had Duncan in his moses basket inside his cot and the last 3 nights he has slept 7 straight hours before waking for a feed, tonight we have removed the moses basket and put him in his cot.
i know it is a bit early he will be 5 weeks old on sunday, bit he is growing so fast he is going to be out of his moses basket very very soon, and we have no room in our room for his cot.
expecting a very restless night, which is why we have chosen a friday to do it so that ian is not working the next day, although doubt he will be much help he gets very stressed easily
