don't know if it will help as never tried it but some of them birth programmes show nurses in hospital giving little babes drinks from cups when they don;t want them to get confused with nipples and bottles. Don't know if anyone else remembers seeing this

Thank you for your responses She just wont take the teat, she has tried tommee tipee and the Avent ones but she just cant seem to suck the teat she has tried her with a dummy and is the same with that. I think she will just have to keep trying her with it. Thanks again x

i mix feed and use tommy tippee closer to nature bottles, does she not take the teat or is it she screws up her face at the taste?

I have just started mix feeding and was unsure how my lo would take to bottle.i had been given advise to get those closer to nature bottles and get my other half to feed because as soon as i pick my lo up to feef she leans in toward my boob.seems to have worked a treat and im mix feeding fine.she can now tell the difference between the 2 as daddy feeds her bottle.i would defo advise tickiling the top of babys lip with the bottle so baby automatically sucks and let her have a small amount of milk then take bottle out of mouth then do it again as sometimes baby can suck too hard at first and nearly chokee on the milk but once uve done it a few times they soon get used to the flow of a bottle.
