We found out with DS. DH was overjoyed to hear it was a boy, but my sister had come with us and she looked miffed it wasn't a girl. Bit annoying. Then DH told everyone he worked with and in the pub so it wasn't much of a suprise to nayone when he arrived. I'd like to stay yellow this time but DH wants to know, so he'll be sworn to secrecy on the threat of no more kids if he blabs!

I'm on baby no 5 and staying yellow this time! I didn't find out with 1st 2 and they were both boys. I found out with last 2 and the 3rd they initially said was a girl but was a boy (did find out b4 he was born though that they got it wrong, had growth scans) and 4th we found out was a girl and i was paranoid through the whole pregnancy even though every growth scan said she was a girl! So to have a surprise and save on the paranoia i am not finding out this time! A surprise is much better xx

We didn't find out with either of our DD's and won't with this one either. Our hospital won't tell you anyway, but we liked the surprise when they're born (gets you through the labour!) and love people guessing!! -

we will be staying yellow this time.
didnt find out with number one or 2, then i knew number 3 was a boy so we found out at the scan, but we kept it quiet apart from a few people and no one knew names.
but i missed the excitement of finding out what he was after all the hard work of labour then being able to go out and buy him lots.
also when my aunt had her boys she had a planned section, had told everyone the names. everyone was just like oh well hes here. there was nothing really to find out.
i quite like the big annonuncement, but it is def personal choice x

I didn't find out with my first which turned out to be my now 5.5 year old ds Dylan. I found out with both my girls Niamh & Amelia but told everyone we didn't know so it was still a surprise for them and allowed me to dig all the right colour out of the attic and get it washed and ironed. Will be finding out this time too but again will tell others we don't know. x -

We will definitely be finding out this time, we didn't with dd, but we will this time, secretly hoping for a ds this time around! X
