Do u mind if i ask ow far gone u were when u had baby? I keep thinking im going into labour for various reasons, did u have much symptoms from a couple of weeks before birth?

He's off the ventilator already? My goodness, thats brilliant!!!
It's all the positive vibes from his Mum & Dad....it's amazing what they can pick up on. Looking forward to seeing some more pics.

hi, just had to let you all know i went to see my little angel this morning and he was off the ventilator!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he's so amazing i can't believe it. he's on cpap now and i can see his adorable little face and heard him cry for the first time. omg, i was so emotional, it was the most beautiful sound in the world!!! i just had to share that with you all. i will put pictures on tomorrow. take care. love, michele x

He deff sounds like a little fighter!! Keep it up Adam!!I hope Mummy and Daddy are OK too - sending you positive thoughts.
I think its amazing how he was born 24 weeks and ONE day only, and hes doing sooo amazing and will survive.

hello everyone. my little son is really doing well, thank you. he's taking lots of milk now and tolerating it. he was a little agitated today, seems to be more wiggly than normal, but he's still ventilating well and bloods are good. can't wait til they weigh him. he's looking fuller to me now. i'm sure he must of put some weight on. oh, he was born at 24 weeks plus one day. he's really doing amazing. i'm totally in love with him!!! i'll keep updated pics when i get them. thank you all so much for your support. i really hope you are all feeling well and you will soon be seeing your little ones as well!!! take care. los of love, michele x

congratulations on ur gorgeous lil boy i from dia and had my baby boy april at 26+4 weeks he is now 6 weeks old and 3lb 8oz he was 2lb 6 when born its very hard seeind your baby so tiny and u cant hug them like a new born but it does get better hoping to have him home in 8 weeks hopefully before but im looking 2wards my due date, anyway congrats again and take care xxx
hello, i've just added some new pictures of adam on his cpap machine. he's still doing well and crying lots!!! got to hold him for the first time today, just in the incubator but it was still great. he's gained some weight now weighs 1 lb 9 oz and is two weeks old today. claire as to your question, no i had no symptoms at all. when i went for my 20 week scan, the sonographer noticed my cervix was shortened and i was admitted straight away. i was actually dilated to about 3 cm. i didn't feel a thing. i had a rescue stitch placed a few days later that held for about three weeks then i had bleeding and was admitted again. i was on complete bedrest in hospital for 8 days before he was born. i was having contractions for about 2 days and i managed to keep him in until 24 weeks plus one day. if you think you're going into labor i would get it checked out, although most pregnancies don't go the way mine did. mine was due to an incompetent cervix they think but don't really know the reason why. i'm going to have some tests done soon and maybe it will shed some light on things but most of the time it is unexplained. if you think you're in labor i think it's easy to determine by simply putting you on a monitor. good luck to you. x
