ive just got got back from my holidays and read your post, i was following your progress before i left and was praying everything would be ok, i cant believe you've had ur little boy its amazing, he sounds like a fighter, i wish u and ur family all the luck in the world

thats wonderful news hun he certainly must be enjoying all that attention off the ladies.
he must look so tiny in there. my sister had her son early as she turned 33 weeks last year and he was 5lb15 he looked absolutely massive in there compared to all the little tiny bundles there were some who were as tiny as Adam is and they had been in there a while but had gone from strength to strength here's to Adam on getting stronger and stronger each day.

Its so lovely to hear that Adam is doing so well, what a little fighter he is. As for being surrounded by girls, im sure thats a sign of whats to come in the future!!

hello ladies, hope you are all doing well. thought i'd give you an update on how adam is doing. well, i spent the morning with him in scbu and he's doing well at the moment with no major problems, thank god for that. they are letting me cradle him and change his tiny nappies through the incubator, which is nice. he's doing well on the ventilator and they are thinking of starting to wean him on to a cpap although he's not making much of an effort yet to breathe on his own. doctor said she wanted to try giving him a bit of milk tonight so we'll see how that goes, for now he's still getting nutrition through a central line. they are going to use donor milk because i take medication that passes into the breastmilk. so yes, i'm in pain at the moment trying to 'dry up' !! it's getting better actually, now all i have is very swollen legs and ankles. must be the hormones and all plus being out so much to go to the hospital, not been relaxing much. but i do feel ok. getting used to seeing my tiny little son. he's surrounded by all little girls at the moment!! he's the smallest there, the others look so big compared to him. well we still don't know what's going to happen at this point as it's still very early, but we've been blessed with having him for five days so far and praying that he just keeps getting stronger and stronger. thanks again for your lovely comments and well wishes. i will keep you posted. enjoy the rest of your pregnancies and wishing you all the very best. love, michele

A Girl at my work had baby girl born at 24 weeks. Little Leisha is now 100 days old and is doing wonderful. She is now out of CPAP and has been transfered to hospital near their home today!!! They are hoping to have her home for her original due date later this month. she's really filling out and now weighs 5 pounds!!! Leisha was smaller than Adam and was unable to breathe like your little guy. Sounds like hes doing great all things considered. I'll by thinking about u
