glad to heAR THE ONLY DAMAGE WAS TO THE MATERIAL THINGS - bet you are both just a shaken - hope the nerves are starting to repair ....:-)

OMG- that must have been awful for you and your MIL to hear about ( and fro your partner and FIL to be in that crash) !!

Good to hear they are home safe. Things like that really make you appreciate life that bit more again.

jus updating

they got home early hours about half 2, the car is a right off but the caravan is not too badly damaged jus a big hole at front of it!!

was so relieved to see dp and fil in one piece, cant stop holding dp an kissing him, they are so lucky. hearing exactly what happened in the accident if the caravan had jack knifed the opposite direction to what it did it wud of pulled them down the cliff and they wud be dead!! someone was definatley watchin over them yasterday, the only freaky thing is that dp had a premonision a few hours before, he knew they were going to crash!!!

i hope they get home soon hun i bet you and mil will be so relieved when they are safe and sound at home. thank goodness they are both ok after what happened.

Glad to hear they are both fine, someone was watching over them last night.  I remember how strong the wind was in February when we went to Glasgow for a party in just the car so glad we stopped an hour away from glasgow for the night in a travel lodge. 

thanks girls for all your replies and support, been with MIL all day and nite, cant sleep or anything as still waiting for them to return home. they will be home in the next 2 hours both are extremely traumatised as they both thought they were dead, thank god for FIL's driving skills as he saved both their lives!!!

My boyfriend was in a crash yesterday and we've been in A&E all morning He's got whiplash, poor bugger!

OMG my dp has been in a car crash! him and his dad had gone up to Scotland lastnite to pick up their caravan and on way home today they have had a crash! apparently a big gust of wind got hold of the caravan and sent it snaking, then it has jack knifed, an all down left side of car has scraped along metal barriers, only on other side of the barrier is a 100ft cliff face!!! my MIL was on the phone with my dp while it happened both him and FIL were screaming then the phone cut off!!! luckily when i rang dp he answered and is jus really shook up but both of them are ok thank the lord!! they are on their way home now, i cant wait to throw my arms round dp and give him the biggest cuddle and kiss ever!!

i have never been so scared in all my life!! (jus needed to get this off my chest as i am still really panicky and anxious)
