I suffered terribly with SPD when I was preg with William, ended up with crutches and braces and I had a wheelchair on order but luckily I had him before it came.
I have mild SPD now but it doesn't bother me much because I can still remember what it was like last year!
I hope you start to feel better soon, I know how fustrating it is
Just focus on the finishing line and know that as soon as I gave birth, all symptoms dissapeared! xXx27/8/08 09:25
Started getting this pain about a wk ago but only when walking so have just stayed in. The last 4 days ive had the pain constantley on my pubic bone line had enough when i got woken up at 6am this morning with pain rang deleivery suite they said it's part SPD & baby head's moving down. I can't cope anymore im fed up with all these niggley pains so im supposed to be house bound until the birth just so i don't irritate the pain arrrrrgggghhhhh. Who else is suffering with this?

hugs hun.
i have had spd since 15 weeks! had it with dd2 last year and with my 2nd child 8 years ago although back then there was no such thing as spd it was just 'part and parcel of pregnancy' and i was told to just put up with it.
sadly there isnt anything you can do you will have good and bad days and you wont be able to get about much i can go out walking for around 5 minutes before i end up in pain all day with it. i have a support belt from physio and pain killers from docs but they dont do much now.
the way i try to look at it is there are women out there much worse off that have spd and have crutches (although i was told i should be on crutches by now i cant as when out i have a pushchair to push with dd2 in sd they wouldnt be much use) and some women are in wheelchair with this condition at this stage. that makes me cope a little better.
