see we are still being made to wait to meet our bubs!!! how frustrating it gets!!! got the hospital tomorrow will be induced this weekend when they have a free spot...

well im going with my mum to meet up with 2 of her friends for lunch...seems to be all i have done over last week long walks and out for lunches with mum...come on babies lol

morning girls, I've just got up, lazy me, I actually slept past 6.30am for once!!! Well, no change for me, still hurty period pains in my back and twinges around my pelvis, but no 'waves' of pain, no nesting urge (I've cleaned my house so many blinkin times, I'm sick of the idea of it now!!!) and so i have decided to pretend I'm not even due yet, and have something fun to look forward to doing everyday. I am meeting some friends from my antenatal classes for lunch, so that should take my mind of it for a while. Gonna plan to visit a friend tomorrow too so thats another day taken care of.
We are so gonna miss our spare time when baby comes along!!! Oh well, you can never find a happy medium! What's everyone else got planned for today then? XXX

hi everyone i am joining you too...im so sick of waiting am 1week over today and still feel absolutely nothing...have got mw appointment on friday where he will do a sweep if i want one and book me in for induction...i just want my princess now!!
its not fair i feel bad but i am having to force myself to be happy and congratulate everyone having their bubs...i am happy for them just so jealous gotta be my turn now...i know i wont have to wait too much longer but this last week has dragged by with no end in sight...anyway enuff moaning hope everyone is ok and sending us all labour vibes

well theres a maximum of 2 weeks before all the august mummys have had there babies, so not much longer!!

murning ladies!!
well im still classing myself as a diaug lady even though they messed my dates up if thats ok!!!?? spent my whole pregnancy in there so dont wanna go lol!!
i hope some of us are having our babies soon seems like the august bunch are a stubbon bunch!! 4 the last 2 days i have been getting really bad period pains and feeling sick also going the loo quite alot (tmi) im hoping this might be myy body getting ready!! i can hope cant i lol!!

how is everyone doing today hopefully not much longer.
I am ok I am 5 days over today and still having cramping pains since my sweep yesterday but nothing major so I am gutted wish this baby would hurry up.

aww liz I am glad mw is not making u wait hun mine was going to come out again of friday but would only be 3 days from first 1 so she said she would wait til tuesday but dont think I will go that long.
Hope u go before then a sweep is not too bad just a little uncomfortable.

Hiya, M/w went well, I've not ever had an internal yet (a good thing really I suppose, as it's not something you'd normally be wanting!) but mw says she'll be kind and not make me wait til my next app which is next Thurs (11th Sept) for a sweep (by which time I'd be 41+5) but she'll come round and do a sweep this Friday (hooray) and I'll be 40+6 then. I hope I go into labour spontaneously before then, but at least there is light at the end of the tunnel if not! She also told me baby is back to back still even though I've been tipping myself forward in everything I've done for the past week, so more floor scrubbing for me!!!

Hi Ladies
I was due 24th august still here now 40+9 and pulling my hair out
had 2nd sweep yday from midwife only 0.5cm dilated and mw could only "tip" my cervix lol sounds so lovely... cervix is softening and thin according to my interpretation of my notes its 1-2cm? is this good or bad? got the hossie on thurs for day care where i should be monitored and scanned and depending how busy!!!! their induction book is i will be admitted that nite but def by friday.Never wished pain on myself so much!!! i will have a party when the contractions come then will be
at the oh hahaJust got to wait and see.. but mw def thinks bubb wont be coming on s/he's own free will... But stranger things have happened...
Still no contractions just crampings...
Wonder why s/he dont want to join the family!!!

Afternoon girls
well mw went really well I had my sweep and mw said I am between 2-3cm and cervix is 1cm thick she reacons I wont last but has booked me in for a 2nd sweep next wk otherwise induction on 12th sept. Baby is all fully engaged now.
how did mw go liz hope all is well I cant believe they leave u to 41wks before sweep.

Hi Nutty. Glad there are still some of us going over together! Dunno whats going on really, I wish someone could just tell you when it was going to happen, then you could just get on as normal without waiting around. I am trying to just be normal, but it's so hard to do much now as it feels like babies head is somewhere betrween my knees and bump is a mile out in front of me. So walking and stuff hurts after a while. Plus the heartburn. My god, I can't wait til thats gone. Might go and do my nails. Got m/w this afternoon, but no sweep til at least 41 weeks, so can't even look forward (!) to that!!! Boooooooo!

How is everyone today fed up I guess, I know I am and im only 4 days over, I have mw this morning and will get a sweep so hopefully it will work and she will come soon, I have had loads of pains n backache but still here.

Hello, I'm crossing over too as no-ne really left in dia!!! I'm Lizzie, 40+3 with my first, girl we think. I'm 26 and didn't think I'd go over really...! I did hope that we'd make it to September (for the new school year, always an advantage) but then thought it would just happen, and didn't really imagine how excruciating the wait would be from now on.... every little twinge and I'm thinkin...is this starting...?!
I've had period pains in back and tummy for over a week, last Weds the doc said my cervix was thinning, so i thought it wouldn't be long. The past few days I've had tightenings all round my tummy (in a different place than I normally get my braxton hicks) but they're not painful so can't be much. Boo. Just do't know what to do now, am so tired from walking around! Nevermind, it's gotta happen sooner or later - just wish it was sooner! I am planning a homebirth also.

Hi E-Lou, yes I remember you from that thread! I'm doing great thanks, have been lucky as have had a good pregnancy. Jaanta has me slightly further on than I am, I'm 39+1 today. I go on the ttc thread occasionally just to see how everyone's doing. Really feel for the girls still there

Hi ladies,
Im so fed up now im 6 days overdue and feeling it. I have just finished an indian it was very spicy and Im hoping that it move things along tonight. I have tried everything else and im getting frustrated.
Well I have an ante natel appointment at the hospital on Wednesday and I hope they give me a sweep cause im my dp is going out of his mind with the waiting!!!! lol. (and im not???!!)
